Albanians know Serbs have a high regard for ancestors.
The fact is this is not random and pointless.This has been going on with documented cases since the Ottoman times.One motive is the systematic erasing of Serbian culture and past history from Kosovo-Metohija.
The thing that speaks to me is that in all of the negotiations that have gone on one thing that both sides have agreed on is the protection of cultural sites and yet this still goes on.
This kind of thing was not done on such a continuing scale to Albanians although I do know Serbs have done things like this.I do not try to speak with moral indignation since we Serbs have done shameful things like this also.The thing is Albanians have never had more power they are in charge for now and yet they continue to behave no different.This should be a time when they show the world even if it is just a show why they deserve independence and they cannot even do that.Albanians please give me one logical and sound reason why you should get Kosovo if even the dead cannot rest what chance do the living have.
After having thought of this issue seriously, if Kosovo independence happenes next year, I suggest that all Serb cemeteries be put on the State protection.

Nobody is that stupid to belive that. This sort of crime is a crime of HATE not some silly prank done by kids. Stoning of a bus previously was also done by some kids according to the Albanians.
If your kids are so naughty, how about you teach them to be good? I don't think it was the kids.
I'm sure some teenage kids joined in the fun of all this but it was certainly orcherstrated by the adults. Let's terrotize the remaining Serbs because they just might leave as well.

The overwhelming majority of Serbs simply do not trust the Albanians at all. They do not trust that an independent Kosovo will bring them anything more than oppression, intimidation, fear, and expulsion. The mentality of these idiots who descecrate cemetaries, churches, houses, and the like, are an indication of the level of mentality displayed at some level within Kosovo society. As long as intolerance and ignorance reign supreme, acts like these will be committed by both sides against the other. Kosovo desperately needs the institutions and the public education to facilitate a civic society. If there is no sense of public trust, there can never be any serious level of democracy.
