"Yes, which must put considerable strain on the Kosova Albanian authorities, which has to constantly continue carrying out and paying for this repair that Ida, honestly enough, refers to."

No, it is being paid for by donations to the Serbian church - that's where the money is coming from - not the Albanians.

Serb diaspora and the Serbian government send money down to Kosovo for the repairs - and even hire Albanian workers. But when the roofs are stolen more money is sent by Serbs.

This actually shows Albanians profiting two ways: #1 the thieves get money from selling what they steal #2 Albanian workers get paid rebuilding.

"The Albanians have persistently stolen from the damaged or being repaired churches and monasteries this past year"

Yes, which must put considerable strain on the Kosova Albanian authorities, which has to constantly continue carrying out and paying for this repair that Ida, honestly enough, refers to.

Now tell me again, when does the Serbian govt intend to begin paying for the 215 mosques it destroyed in 1999 (as for the 100,000 homes, let's not go there. and certainly not the 1650 mosques destroyed in Bosnia, etc etc ...)

Thieves don't care about religion. Many times Mosques have been subject of burglary and/or theft including Catholic Churches. Petty thives stealing lead plates to sell them for profit, no more no less. Stop politicazing everything and anything.Petty theft has nothing to do with politics.

Pathetic PR is right..what next?
They will help an elderly Serb lady cross the street?

Yes they will GIVE them Kosovo and after the referendum they will join Albania and you won't hear the word Kosovo come out the mouth of any albanian, all the west is doing is causing a big bloodshed for the future.

they believe they have the right to take it. i was once told by a real good friend that they will steal your underwear if you are not careful. No pun intended.

"This is a cheap PR stunt in the run up to 10th Dec."

Nope it's a persistent problem in Kosovo of Albanians stealing from Serbian churches and monasteries. They've stolen the lead roof of a church monastery in Prizren after it was replaced, and then a second time after it was replaced again.

The Albanians have persistently stolen from the damaged or being repaired churches and monasteries this past year.

Well it is good to know that 7 were arrested, but that won't make a bit of a difference. All 7 will be out of jail in 5 to 10 days and back on their merry way doing and planning who knows what.

That is the true reality in Kosovo, can't really sweeten it.

All Albanian's and Serbs know how the judicial system really works there.
