I highly doubt Iran would restart their nuclear program and become a threat in the world if the US did not provoke them and sanction them. It is only by their own fault that Iran is against them ideologically, I am sure that 09/11 and many other such acts would not happen altogether if the Americans just left the Islamic countries alone.

This is why I hope that no European country is stupid enough to follow the US into another blunder. Look at the history, the US used nuclear bombs in Japan, Napalm/Agent Orange in Vietnam, when was there a time when Iran used weapons of mass destruction? They never did. Conversely, the Iraqis used mustard gas and other chemicals against Iran in the 80's war. Why are countries like India, Pakistan, Israel and others allowed to harness the power of the atom, but Iran not?

I can see clearly now that this whole issue is nothing more than a personal vendetta between two presidents, nothing more.

Oh, and about standing in lines for iodine, don't worry, soon Poland will stop supporting the US in their stupid wars and leave you to do that. Thanks for your concern anyway.

Peter,

Even if they stopped enriching for military purpose under intense international pressure it does not mean that they could not restart at any time. The current Iranian regime is not trustworthy exept for ant-US, anti-NATO, pro-Iran, pro-Russia people like you. Wolves change overnight to sheep only in your imagination or what seems to be the case you always considered them as sheep.
Whatever is the case I don't care. I would not care either if one day these sheep would force you to stay in line again for an iodine injection.
You would say naively that they would not hit Poland. Oh yes...those clouds would know exactly the precise location of Poland's borders and never go over from neighboring states, not even for a meter. That reminds my of a funny German operette seen a long time ago on the German TV: it showed a border post on the old Austro-Hungarian - Russian border. On the Hungarian side it was flowers and singing birds around the Hungarian guard. On the Russian side one meter further it was 1,5 meter high snow and ice and a poor soldier freezing to death. When I read some of your comments the images of that operette come to my mind. But I respect your opinion. There are many people like you in Europe. I just have one message for them: if down the line things would turn out quite differently of their anti-US thinking they should not blame us for it but themselfes. We would tell them "we told you so".

I don't know if George W. Bush knows this, but refining uranium does not mean necessarily that Iran is planning to develop nuclear weapons, but it could mean that they are enriching it for nuclear power use. I really don't get it, the report states they abandoned their nuclear weapons program four years ago and the US are still pushing for sanctions?

Then again, when you have the US president with gems like: ""The best way to ensure that the world is peaceful in the future is for the international community to continue to work together to say to the Iranians we are going to isolate you."", I suppose it is hardly a surprize.
