mladic AND karadzic into their respective cages, or no dealing on anything!! Tough love when it comes to mass-murderers and evil war criminals, and to the people who continue to hide and support them.

as for del ponte, you started out mean and lean and ended ineffectually. adios...

If Kosovo is illegally recognized by one western nation, you can forget about getting Mladic and Karadzic anywhere but on the streets of Belgrade.

My old boss use to say: “ if I wanted your darn opinion I would ask for it, wouldn’t I…”
I guess this applies universally. Com’on Slovenia… really.
Slovenia should be assigned the adequate level of importance – a mere spokesperson for Germany and it’s interests. No more – no less. The Decision Maker sits in Berlin. So, let cut the middleman out and go and talk directly to The Man. It will save us all the unnecessary hassle and nothing will be lost in the “ translation process “.

If he was a real patriot, he would give himself up rather than hold millions of serbs hostage! He values his personal freedom over the freedom of millions of serbs even though he is an old man! And you call him a hero?!!

If he believes that what he did was right (you would have to be insane to do so!), than he should come out and defend himself.

Instead he knows he is responsible for the deaths of thousands of women, children and innocent men, and hence the reason why he is hiding like a mouse!

Clear statement!
This is the way ahead.
No further delay. No mention of new dead-lines. Put action behind the statement throug your six month Presidency and your country will be positively remembered, for that action alone.

War crimes and mention of Brussels and the USA - what irony! When Belgium had a war crimes law that saw Americans being indicted, in summer of 2003 the US government put pressure on the Belgians to scrap or dilute that law or face a NATO boycot from America as well as hints of financial duress, so the Belgians complied with the US threats and balckmail. If you have an American passport, you can make a war crime and there is no worry about being held to account in an international war crimes court.

Poor Belgium: no functioning government for 6 months now and the remote prospect of a split between the Flemish and Wallonians into two countries, and somehow they are still the hub of the EU.

By the way, a 'Türk' telling Serbia what to do is an old tradition.

I fear that all Balkan states (save for Macedonia, Albania and Slovenia) will have to do a lot of extraditing after the Yugoslav Wars, not just Serbia, though indeed Mladic is the worst of them.

Except Karadjic and Mladic, before they sin the agreement they should return all the displaced persons to Medvegja. Are these politicians ready and capable of doing, I am not sure?
My opinion is that they should resign since they have done nothing to change the life of Serbia citizens for better. In fact, they are going toward a new isolation form the International community.

Good luck to Serbia and its supporters left in minority, supporters that are doing more harm than anything.
I wish Serbia to recover form this nightmare, ignore their minority supporters and move ahead with reforms
Pricnps, Jovans, Kates, RETIRE. Leave Serbian people in Serbia to improve their life’s like you have yours. Don’t you realize that you are a minority even is Serbian site. For the past 20 years ordinary people are tired form wars, poverty, insecurity, isolation. For you that think that know about Kosova more than about Serbia get back to your everyday life since that’s where your success will be measured. Apart from being good in expressing yourselves in English language you offer nothing.
See to your credit debs and your jobs, Kosova belongs to it people. If you want to occupy again than you have to move 2 mil. people somewhere else, possibility of this is as you know, zero. Now you are free to come up with your conclusions.

Big words from a president of a country that was accepted into the EU before many issues, such as property restitution, were even discussed, let alone resolved! Clean up your own house before demanding others to clean up theirs my dear president!

Unfortunately for Serbia the views of the Slovenian Prime Minister are of absolutely no consequence. The Germans rule the EU and what happens in the EU is 100% dependent on what Germany wants and 0% on what Slovenia wants.

The fact is that Germany has a centuries-old ambition to dominate and control the entire European continent. Serbia controls a vital, if small, part of the continent, and so it must become a member of the EU.

Serbia would enjoy greater liberty and prosperity outside the EU, but unless they join in a defensive union with Russia it is inevitable that it will be absorbed by Germania, more commonly referred to as "the EU."

“Slovenia has long experience in communicating with the U.S. over Kosovo,” Türk said.

Yes, Slovenia has long expirience nodding the head and approving everything that Washington demands. Real diplomacy and slefrespect!
