She said that it was clear that a big organized group had come down from Topola, and that members of the Naši (Ours) NGO from Aranđelovac had also been present.

WAIT! There is a nationalist Nashi movement already in Russia.

It would be a evidence of the Putin-Dodik-Kostunica Axis?

i have often been critical of b92, but as i read this, i see you guys (and gals) really have yr hands full, and i guess are trying to do the best that you can under such incredible odds. i know it is rel. ez to be critical from the west, and another to fight the good fight on home turf. really, it must sometimes get very exhausting...

You can go as far East as you can people of Serbia. Albania tried it not too long ago...with China...it didn't end very good. But you never know, you might be a special case. Remember the name "Semipalatinsk" though...it might come true.

Toniuk, Serbia has been democratic for almost 10 years, and nothing has changed. The west is continuing to turn their back on Serbia. Maybe it is time to turn in a new direction, eastward.

Russia has a bright future with rising energy prices worldwide and sitting on huge energy reserves. The west have had their their peek and are going steep downhill. The fog currently lies thick over Serbia, but I feel some light will soon break through..

Amazing, Europ 2007.
Considering Serbia fancies her chances to be compared with any other democratic EU country, this is very serious indeed.
Unfortunately, (considering the size of different political parties in Serbia)those groups appear to have the support of the majority of the people of Serbia and Russia indeed.
Democratic and prosperous part of Serbia, it is time you stand up and say "enough is enough", or you risk ending up undoing all that has been achived during post Milosevic years, and worse.

Truely, I'm not sure what the two sides contend. But, I do know that to not protest where one believes to have been wronged because of forces causing censorship is "fascistoid". Since the other party in this conflict of interest had an similar opportunity to broadcast their opinion previously on Sumadija TV, the gathering had no reason to get out of hand.

Well freedom of speech was carried out. The promotion of Peščanik at Aranđelovac’s House of Culture was halted by a clear majority of citizens which took upon themselves to challange their right for free speech. Why is this the first time that two ideologies or opinions have collided. Clearly the town has spoken!

I am ashamed that this is happening in Serbia. Everybody should be able to voice their opinons, hold debates etc.
Shame on these so-called SRS and NS-supporters to turn some small event into a huge pile of negative publicity.
And shame on the police and authorities for not sufficiently protecting the people that were trying to do what they are democratically and constitutionally allowed to do.
