Mito is quite right. The MPs should also share the cuts. There is incredible bureaucracy in Serbia, you need to queue up in line in the municipality for all sorts of things and then queue up to pay the "tax". I wanted to ask customs a question 3 weeks ago. I had to queue up in 3 lines, find a bank, pay a 900 dinar "tax", then wait 3 weeks just to get an answer. Elsewhere one phone call would have done the job !
Get rid of 90% of them.

We can start by slashing the number of MP's in Parliament from 250 to 120.

Too many politicians and bureaucracy makes for slower progress. Along with that we have way to many political parties many with the same ideologies and such but are divided because of small personal disagreements. This is where the greatest reform is needed I'm afraid.

In Canada we have government employees, Federal and provincial (Ontario), that do not do their jobs. They just tow the line and don't solve problems.

It is a form of welfare to "build" your resume.

Ya what are the Serbs thinking they don't have former Yugoslavia republics to support them. Like before where the Serbs were out of all sensible or needed proportion in the bureaucracy ,police ,army and communist party. I guess old habits die hard there is no more any free lunch.
