Canadian,

I'd have to agree. In fact the President & PM combo have worked very well - almost like a good cop bad cop but both upholding international law and long may both continue the partnership.

The US and EU will tell the Albanians to declare independence only after the Serbian elections when (presumably) Tadic wins. The reasoning is that Tadic is a US poppet and therefore will come inline when ordered to accept Kosovo’s impendence by his maters. Does all this sound familiar? Didn’t the US and EU sing this same song about this time last year? I use to think that Tadic indeed would fall inline with his American masters and let Kosovo go, but lately I am not too sure and think that the Americans and the EU will be quite surprised when Tadic does not jump the Serbian ship and stays on course with objections over Kosovo’s independence. Another blunder by the Americans if Tadic does not come on board with them.
