Oh come on, Sedjiu is sexy, if you like that type. And what about Ceku, well, nevermind. Serbs got the good looking politicos, for sure. Thaci "The Snake" is probably best looking Albanian but, he is so evil, he is the most ugly.

It seems to me most men are in complete oblivion to the fact Tadic has become quite the sex-symbol of the Balkans ;-). A strong asset to have bearing in mind more than 50% of voters are women :-)

Well Victor, I HAVE been following the events since '87..
And as far as perceptions go, I get the honour of seeing both sides of the story, so you WON'T be able to change my perceptions.

Not on these forums anyways..
If it's debate that we would like to avoid, let's start with sticking to the topics..

"ONE man indeed can change not only politics but can also change the face of the earth."

Yes, of course..I agree.
But that doesn't include politicians in todays democracies. Governments are designed for expensive and time consuming decisions.

Thankfully it helps prevent tyrants from reigning control..
Unfortunately the side effects are......
That nothing gets done, and the leaders are just cardboard cutouts.

Sort of like a minority government on Parliament Hill..

My point being (in all of this), that politicians, for the most part, get elected because of the people who wield true power, who put them there...

That's an unfortunate fact.

As being a woman myself I can say that Tadic is very good looking man. He has all qualities that one woman wants from a man, handsome, beatufil, charming, inteligent, brave. Hm,hm :)))))

«Secondly, you seem to think that somehow ONE man can change the political scene.»

History shows the opposite of this assertion. ONE man indeed can change not only politics but can also change the face of the earth.

I am sure that if Pres Dindic would have not been assassinated, Mladic would be at the Hague, and Karadzic also.

My goal on this forum is not necessarily to debate with you, but to bring you facts to change your perception of events.

Victor:

Don't let your personal quest for self appointed justice, taint the reality of politics, and what a good leader should be...

Trying to preserve the borders, recovering from economic sanctions and needless bombing and putting food on the table of most citizens is first and foremost..

Secondly, you seem to think that somehow ONE man can change the political scene..

As a Canadian, you should know that political beaurocracy doesn't allow for such actions, and NO POLITICIAN can singlehandedly carry the actions that you would request...

It's called becoming a modern day democracy...

Slowly but surely..
But maybe not on your terms Victor..

So tell me...

Besides endlessly repeating your desire for Mladic and Karadzic arrests...how does your statement provide for article debate?

serbs and turks exchanging pleasantries? whatever happen to the bitterness leftover from 1389?
turkey should never be allowed into the EU!

Mark Green

Turkey should never be allowed into the EU. The way they treat the Turkish Kurds and the fact they are an Asain country should be enough to stop Turkey ever being allowed in.

In all truth the EU isn't a good thing, it's the start of a super state.

«Turkey and Serbia are important countries in the region, and Tadić is a leader with a vision,»

What vision, may I ask?

I've been listening attentively to Mr Tadic since he is President, since 2004, and honestly I see little achievement of a possible vision that could be is.

As I have so many times pointed out, Mr Tadic's goal, as a Serb and President of all Serb, should be to bring JUSTICE to all the Bosniak victims of the war in Bosnia.

Mladic and Karadzic, the main architects of the genocide in Bosnia, are still on the run, and the commanders of the numerous paramilitary units who are responsible for so many deaths during the war, are living in Serbia and Bosnia as ordinary citizens.

What could be the vision of a President for his nation considering all the massacres and atrociies committed by the army, policemen, paramilitary?

Having for principle justice for all, the answer is simple.

Are the Turkish politicians insane or only naive?

Turkey will never get into the EU if they are continuing to occupy half of EU-Cyprus!

Despite Cyprus being small, they are still a member of EU and will stop any turkish memebership with 100%. Maybe Turkey can occupy some parts of nothern iraq instead?
