Serb Camp,

you are getting so excited about 10 kg heroin that supposedly came from Kosovo.

In Rebublika Serbska, serbs where cought with 160 kg heroin.

Your comments regardig that are being missed.

Well done to International Police in Bosnia and Hercegovina!

ToniUK

Have to point this to Serb Cams' objectivity.

10 kg seized at Kosovo "boundary", not exactely in the capital Pristina. They porbabley came in from Serbia or Bosnia anyway.

And 1 comment only regarding 160 kg cocain seized in the heart of Rebublika Serbska.

Well done International forces in Bosnia and Hercegovina!

I am very concerned on the negative effect this seizure of heroin, which is the Kosovo albanian's number one export, will have on Kosovo's GDP (Gross Domestic Product).

Serb Camp,

don't get super excited because the name "kosovo" came up in this article. In fact this article makes no sense whatsoever. This piece of news is pure propaganda.

Your comment is quite upsetting. One spec (gram) of this drug is enough to kill someone, so shame on you!

Any arrest or slow down in the process of drug trafficking is a victory!

BRAVO SRBIJA!

hahaha

its funny to see the comments form the serbian camp here.

If these drugs were getting transported through Kosovo, to get to lets say, Bosnia, then I would say OK, you can blame Kosovan and Bosnians.

But these drugs were destined for Serbia or were getting trafficked through Serbia same as they were geting trafficked through Kosovo.

I really don't understand were you get the moral high ground here to point the finger at someone else, considering Serbia is just as much if more, implicated in this!!

Is it not fair to say that whole of Balkans is a route for drug trafficking???? These drugs are not getting made in Kosovo, and are not ending up in Kosovo. They are getting trafficked there through other countries, and then are getting trafficked through / to Serbia, and then maybe to other countries! As there was a case with a recent news story and drugs getting trafficed from Black Sea (Romania / Bulgaria) through Serbia to Wester Europe, and serb camp were quick to point the fingers at Kosovo / K. Albanians, even though its physically / geographically impossible to get from Romania or Bulgaria to, Kosovo whithout going through Serbia, and Kosovo wasn't even mentioned on that report!!

I sympathise with the drugs users. You have to be on drugs to listen to this debate for long. On a more serious note, it is a buyers market. If drugs did not pass through Kosova, they will surely pass through a different crossing. Like any other black market commodity it will always available on the streets. Bearing in mind the political situation it is no wonder that Kosova is the weakest link in crime prevention. No need for any of you guys to make political gains out of this.

Ahmet: Although I know you'll not be interested in real explanation, I will try anyway: the usual way to catch drug-imports is to follow back the trace from the people that are supposed to receive the drugs.
So by for example interrogating dealers in (let's say) Kraljevo, they know that a new shipment is on its way. After that they can try to catch the criminals that are importing it. No need to be in Kosovo. Even though the drugs are coming from Kosovo.
Of course this problem might not exist when KFOR and KPS did a better job in catching the source of these narcotics.

So basically: you're wrong! ;-)

Ahmet Isufi says "I have checked all police reports for entire Kosova (UNMIK and KPS+KFOR) and results are ZERO. Stop the propagnada."

Do you truly think that someone is going to believe you have access to all of these police reports as you say "entire Kosovo"?

I think you are exaggerating.

"The group were attempting to smuggle the drugs from Kosovo into Serbia proper. Beta understands that 10kg of pure heroin was seized during the operation carried out by police forces from Kraljevo and Novi Pazar, with the help of the Crime Squad in Belgrade".
Sorry guys, but there is something wrong with this artilce.
If they were atepmtting to smuggle the drugs from Kosova into Serbia, it means that police from Krajlevo, Novi Pazar and Crime Squad from Belgarde made the arrests on Kosova soil(never happened). If arrests and confiscation of drugs was not made in Kosova soil but Serbian soil, it tells me that drugs from Serbia proper were being shipped elswhere. Why even bother to mention Kosova in this case. I have checked all police reports for entire Kosova (UNMIK and KPS+KFOR) and results are ZERO. Stop the propagnada.

Well done serbian police!

I understand that Kosovo don't have any trade of important other than drugs and human trafficing, but that doesn't mean that Serbia should accept it only because KFOR and the Albanian police does.

10 kilos here and 10 kilos there. Nothing at all. The amount of drugs passing through that region is to be measuren in thousands of kilos. The traffickers once in a while "drop" 10 kilos or 20 kilos, just to satisfy the authorithies in the region. Newspapares declare the great victories and the show continues. That region is the main supplier for all the countries in the Western Balkans and most EU countries. Only a united international front, which does not exist today, can stop this traffic.
This, on the other hand, will undermine some of the official economies in the region.

Kosovo is the hub for drug and human trafficing. Their mighty police is incapable of keeping the order in this Serbian province ruled by Albanians. Perhaps KPS just have no free hands to find the criminals since they are all very related to Albanian politicans. But, hey, Kosovo's econmoy must be raised! Human and drug trafficing seem to be very developed "industry" in Kosovo and UNMIK instead of doing something in rooting out these criminal activities they just observe (maybe even involved).

While Serbia had the control over its province the criminals would be found and detained. However, Albanians did not appriciate when Serbian police was taking actions against their criminals, so they actually turned it all as a violation of human rights and opression against minority. That is reality! Kosovo is turning into Euoropean Afganistan
