I guess our critics here can't read or are just too lazy.
The Russians are realistic people, Tadic will most probably win the Presidential election, considering his approval rating. And I am fine with DS having the president as long as DSS has the Prime Minister.
Another thing, Russia has no need to meddle in Serbia's affairs. Anyone who suggest that they are, are deeply mistaken.

Kosovo, if it ever gets independence, will be owned by the US. Far more than Serbia is 'owned' by Russia.

The future of Serbia is in the EU. If you let Kosovo free (either way they will be), you could theoretically negotiate a speedy entrance into the EU.
