It is tragic to see all these Serbs telling us who forced us out from our homes,as if we didn't live ourselves.
This is very offending and B92 should not even publish these comments.

NATO bombed SECRET service base building in pristina???
I wonder how did they knew what it is...

Maybe Djakovica victims were put by serbs on the road so NATO can bomb them too?

There are 800.000 people available to corroborate everyone’s story.

So your saying that 10 000 (VJ) soldiers at the height of the conflict forced out 800 000 albanians?....ya thats a pretty expensive story to "buy".

I really do doubt the army had anything to do with this.

My whole extended family was in Prishtina, Peja/Pec, Prizren… when the bombing started. I didn't need to listen to CNN, BBC, TVB or RTS to know that each house was visited by Serb paramilitaries, police, army, armed civilians etc. They were all robbed and forced to buy their "ticket" to leave Kosova(o).
You don't need to be a Sherlock Holmes to investigate this. There are 800.000 people available to corroborate everyone’s story.

What must be made clear to this Serbian Army is that they organized and financed local militias and security forces. Most of these forces, and paramilitary volunteers, were comprised of local Serbs, hence the all too common scenarios of long-time neighbor Serbs attacking their neighbor Albanians. Such stories were all too common after the war. Furthermore, condisering the fact that All Albanians were 'dismissed' from public posts, it did not exclude the security forces, hence all security personnel in Kosovo was comprised of Serbs.
Considering the fact that the Kosovar Government is calling for Serbs to return to Kosovo, the only reason for their hesitation is having to face justice, or revenge from their victims and their families.
It is not that complicated to understand.
Now if you are going to be delusional and believe in conspiracy theories, then you would say that the Albanians have a 6th sense which is that they can communicate on another 'channel' of sorts and staged the entire war. 10,000 men, women, and children chose to die at the hands of Serbs.

Prior to the bombing most fled due to a fear of escalation.

After the bombing the majority of Albanians who fled fled. Now, the ICTY and NATO want us to believe that the majority of Albanians fled after bombing started and it had nothing to do with NATO's bombing?

Someone should force the people working for the ICTY to learn some common sense?

Teni, "ALL" means that there is no exception. it is not that simple.

Here is something to you to explain. None of the columns of ALbanian civilians heading to Macedonia and Albania were bombed by NATO. However, two columns of Albanian civilians heading north were bombed by "mistake". Don't follow orders and you will be bombed.

KLA orders to civilians to evacuate according to the previous plan are no secret. The joint Albania-U.S. military excercise in 1996 with the very same script is no secret either.

Another question: How many casualties KLA had in the period of March 23-June 10, 1999? According to Albanian commentators, none, all casualties were civilians.

The Hague circus tries to prove the same. That there was no terrorist activity and that VJ and Police acted only against the civilians.

During WWII, United States created concentration camps for Americans of Japanese descent, because they were considered a risk for national security. Serbia did not create concentration camps for Serbians of Albanian descent, although many were involved in the acts of treason and terrorism.

In war, country has the right to defend herself.

That is what this circus is all about - to deny that right.

As of war mongers going unde the name of Human Rights Watch, the board member at that time was Morron Abramowitz, adviser of KLA terrorists in Rambouillet.
Their reports during war are not worth the paper they are printed on. It is propaganda material of one warring party, not independent report and should be viewed as such.

I believe Lazarevic to some extend. Most likely is that Albanians flee from bombs that NATO was droping without the mercy. The other possibility is that they were organised by Red Cross UNICEF, etc.. in order to create heart breaking scenario and humanitarian catastrophe labeling Serbian Army just to justify illegal NATO bombing against Serbia. All was very well organised, tents were already prepared in Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro and CNN and BBC journalists ready take the first shoots of humanitarian catastrophe.

«Lazarević admitted yesterday that during the war, he was aware of the fact that many people left Kosovo, but rejected the possibility that the army was responsible for this. »

According to HRW, the army would bomb a village and the paramilitary would go in to loot, take everything from the people, and order them to «return to Albania»

Then the the village would be set on fire and burn to the ground.

"..Many witnesses testifying for the prosecution identified local armed Serbs as the perpetrators of the gravest crimes against civilians. According to the prosecution, these local armed Serbs were actually the people behind the phrase armed non-Albanian population..."

Wonder why we have thousands of "civilian" Serbs not returning back, scared of getting arrested maybe? I think we have found the real reason why many wont return back. Every civilian have the right to return back, however those who commited crimes waites behind bars.

"Many witnesses testifying for the prosecution identified local armed Serbs as the perpetrators of the gravest crimes against civilians", Now , this is the reason these serbs are not going to ever come back to Kosova, because they know they will be charged with war crimes. So, when we talk about returnees we are not stopping anybody from coming back to their homes, but these cowards are afraid to face justice.

teni

People fled from the battlefield!!?
In Prishtina for instance there was never any fighting between the KLA and the Serbs, NATO only bombed two buildings in the city itself, one of which was the secret service base, and two military bases in the outskirts of Prishtina. Given the fact that these were no-go areas for civilians anyway and given the fact that whoever has been to Prishtina knows that there are no civilian habitations close to these buildings, I fail to see why the civilian population, i.e. the Albanians would have fled the city unless the Serb forces forced them, as all Albanians say. And furthermore I fail to see how the whole Albanian population of Prishtina could have arranged trains (!!!) and bus convoys - escorted by the VJ and Serb poice - to the Macedonian border in order to flee the battlefield. And this happened in ALL other cities.
