Our compromise was:

1) Not joining Albania
2) 8 years
3) Two different talks

NO MORE COMPROMISES --- Bring on the INDEPENDENCE baby!

“I trust that" US, UK & France," as a signatory of the "UN Resolution 1244" , will do everything "they" can to respect this agreement,”

- is what President tadic needs to tell the German amassador, the US and the "2" other European govts who expect Serbia to respect agreements after 10th December.

Maas said that Kosovo and Republic of Srpska (RS) were not related, as Serbian officials have suggested.

-Srpska and Kosovo are very related issues and please do not insult my intelligence

“I trust that Serbia, as a signatory of the Dayton Accords, will do everything it can to respect this agreement,” Maas said.

-We trusted EU that will not violate international law. What goes around comes sround

He added that it was “clear” that all countries in the region had made the decision to integrate into Europe.

-There was no referendum yet on EU joining and when it comes I will be the first to say no

Evidently it is too late for that now, the EU needs to start thinking about how they will actually carry out the independence of Kosovo and stability in the region. Obviously the US will not deviate from recognition of unilateral independence, since it won't hurt them in doing so, but Europe will have a situation to deal with.
