Actually, many barracks and weapons depots were simply handed over by JNA leaders who were non-Serb. There were plenty of Croats, Slovenes, Albanians, Bosnian Muslims who simply deserted and went to the separatist side.
Croatia actually had quite a lot of ethnic Albanian generals and soldiers in their war - some of them wanted for warcrimes.

What is the point with the story now? Just one thing to cover the lack of another fresh news articles or columns. The journalists usually do know and handle the facts but have no freedom to publish as it can compromise own country's illegal actions, so there is no totaly free media but controled ones great deal by the governments they belong to. That is how the war against Serbia is ben won by medias without any facts on the ground. The world's famous media or news agences were doing just what they have been told to do and so publishing it or air it.
