"He may be 'warned', along with the Kosovo Albanians to try and find a flexible solution of some kind..."

Kate, do you know any kind because the heads of all diplomacies haven't found any "flexible solution of some kind" for almost two years. If you don't know any kind that don't throws words in the air like that.

And Kate continues...
"... but you are kidding yourself if you think that the British PM will demand that Jeremic hand over 15% of Serbian territory. It doesn't work like that. "

Well you know very well British already have demanded Belgrade to hand over, what you call it again? Yes, 12% of territory. If you want to offer 15% that's fine but no thanks, we are not greedy, we only want what's ours, Kosova.

I don’t know where some of you,(Kate, Srboslav, Cvele, Jova, Princip,..) get those news how UK or EU is not going to support independence of Kosova. I mean it truly amazes me and I see no point even debating anything with Serbian camp. It’s like we live in two differenet planets.
Kate here its is for you, in plain old English
“Kosovo should have her independence (but) it shouldn't be an unmanaged unilateral declaration," said Britain's European affairs minister Jim Murphy”

Well this is a positive sign - clearly the UK govt is testing the waters - do they act illegally and open the pandora's box of instability and some very predictable and disasterous consequences or should we not work withing the international norms and laws that we have formulated and agreed? The fact that Jeremic is seeing PM Brown speaks volumes i.e. the UK know the score and Jeremic best tell them in no uncertain way Serbia says NO to partitioning its Soeverign and UN recognised state so the UK best help in ensuring a solution that respects all and lies within International Law - something that Serbia is only too happy to ensure.

The chance that UK will recognize Kosovo against international law is smaller every day. Hopefully Jeremic told the english politicians that they have to clean up their own back yard in Northern Ireland before trying to get Serbia to give up their land.

Doni - He may be 'warned', along with the Kosovo Albanians to try and find a flexible solution of some kind, but you are kidding yourself if you think that the British PM will demand that Jeremic hand over 15% of Serbian territory. It doesn't work like that.

We are back in the situation in Europe of real politics, thank goodness. Everyone is aware that Kosovo is legally part of Serbia and no-one except the US is naive or gung-ho enough to try to prise away someone else's territory against their will when they have status protected by the UN. It would start a diplomatic avalanche!

Your friend Blair is off in the Middle East charging a fortune for publishing deals and after dinner speeches. Times have changed.

New Prime Minister who hated much of what Blair stood for, but wants to keep onside with the US. Also, he is well aware of the significance of becoming trade partners with Serbia and forging strong links with other EC countries.

It will be interesting to see what transpires.
