Well, it's not like Serbia has shown itself to be very democratic with it's "wonderful" record.

Weather might have accounted for a small percentage, the dissapointment of LDK supporters might have made them punish LDK by abstaining to vote instead of giving even more votes to PDK, and well, the rest just voted for the most likely to deliver on independence.

And that guy won, so good luck tomorrow on the negotiations.

I heard that the Kosovar negotiating team might dissolve and Thaci will have all the say in the matter...so this will come down to be very interesting.

So let me get this straight, you Albanians didn't vote because you don't trust these politicians with their clear lack of social and economic experiance?

Wow thats saying A LOT...considering these are supposed to be the people who declare your "independence".....bad weather and social issues... seems you aren't ready for democracy.

Peter - Yeah, nice try to twist the win around to "living conditions" instead of independence.

If living conditions were the issue, Thaci would not have won by such a landslide against the Rugova party.

How can discussions be a waste of time when we are talking about the welfare of people and international stability? Don't you realize that some EU states disagree with Kosovo's notion of unilateral independence?

Kosovo has a long way to go before it can function as a state, I hope this government is able to address real problems, like unemployment and lack of services, something which the people that voted him into power would prefer than the status of where they live, don't you think?

It's obvious why it's so low!

There is huge dissapointment in how these status talks were conducted, because you have wasted precious time for these people with pointless discussions!
