"ANA is reality in Kosovo"

Kosova North, Kosova South is all Kosova land Sir and any centimeter is of importance to us and We Are Interested In Any Part That You Can Think Of. Albanians see Kosova as a whole and partition is just a very bad dream that Serbian nationalists see every now and then, but it will not be allowed to happen by international community.

Yep, and here's the best part of the story: ANA is clearly aiming to destabilize regions outside of Albanian-controlled Kosovo; in Macedonia, in southern Serbia, and in northern Kosovo.

If there's a unilateral recognition of independence for Kosovo, international law is now drastically changed, effectively legitimizing any group seeking self-determination to resort to violence, get international backing and achieve their objectives. So the domino effects will be:

1. Kosovo unilaterally declares and is recognized by US

2. Northern Kosovo "secedes" back into Serbia

3. RS holds a referendum on independence

4. ANA seeks to either take back northern Kosovo, or will work at getting northwest Macedonia and/or the Serbian Valley to secede.

Lots of fun!

The US better play its diplomatic cards right in the next few weeks or the good people at Rand McNally are going to be quite busy next year!

I still believe that this ANA is nothing but a bunch of chicken-thieves...

at the moment, there is no albanian "army" that would have a snowball´s chance in hell...if there was a real conflict emerging in Kosovo.

the internationals would have to respond in order not to lose the last drop of credibility that was gambled away by the german KFOR-troops in 2004.

and there is still Serbia, highly trained, motivated and what is the most important fact: in accordance with national and international law.

I would really be sad because of the suffering of the ordinary poeple in the serbian province.

Clean cut, So Kosovo is complete and cannot be divided along the ethnic lines. May I remind you that Kosovo is a part of Serbia.

So if Serbia can be divided along the ethnic lines according to the international community then Kosovo fall in the same category.

International community has already lost a lot of credibility by even suggesting to break up a country along those lines, so they should think twice about the double standard.

To Matthew, Pricip, and all the other submissive and compliant Serbs: I made a positve comment on another post regarding the need for Czar Lazar's group for which I've received some retaliatory feedback as if I were an Albanian. Well look what's happening now. The ANA is being recognized as a realistic threat to the Serbs. So according to you guys, let's take the high ground and pursue the diplomatic route while innocent Serbs become victims and we lose Kosovo. Thank God the Serbian politicians don't share your views (excluding Tadic and the DS party). I believe we have learnt our lesson from the past neither to trust the US nor the EU by agreeing and signing on to something that will never be honoured, e.g. UNSC Resolution 1244. I also believe that our paramiltary has received a tacit approval from the gouvernment and the army. The rest of what you hear is only lip service for public consumption.

This man should be reinstated to his former position.

What was so wrong in saying that this time we have Russian support. It's like saying the sky is blue. We can't state the obvious anymore? What planet are you guys from?

Its a government not paramilitary decision to go to war (see my earlier comment). If it were up to me, I'd do as much as possible to ensure Russian and Chinese boots on the ground in Northern Kosovo. I believe ANA is a serious threat.

You're never getting the northern part of Kosovo. Your government in Pristina has zero authority there.

You're also not getting Presevo.

I agree with everything on what you said but the thing is that if the war is about to happen, don't you think that our government should be the one to declare the war on ANA. I would not let any paramilitary troops to run the war in Serbian name. The another thing with is Lazar's guard is threat to own people who do not share same vision on this matter as they. I agree that Serbs that are left in Kosovo must be protected by all means if ANA begins the war. I do not trust KFOR and would not rely on them for not a one sec.

I saw that video, awhile ago.
That particular group seemed to have some very dangerous looking weapons on them.
