The Kosovo/Albanian mafia is worse in other countries such as Spain, Italy, and the Czech Republic. In Britain, ethnic Albanians control brothels of women held against their will - beat up and threatened to be killed if they attempt to leave, watched carefully and having barred windows in the places they are kept.

Peggy,

One thing with Kosovo Albanians is very symptomatic and that is lack of criticizing thier society and bad societal phenomenons. The entire world is talking about Kosovo as a paradise for criminals and yet Albanians have no enough courage to admit it. They even compare their crime with the crime toll in other countries saying that the crime is about in same level. They even do not wont to criticize their politicans for economical colapse in Kosovo. There are no more Serbs overthere, they are basically independent for 8 years and they inhereted everything from Serbs, meaning that they could just continue. They did not know how, they are stacked for 8 years no moving forward and still blame Serbs for that instead thier politicans. This is tragedy for thier society if they continue to lack in critics aiming to hier beloved politicans.

This kind of propoganda makes me sick and the intention is so obvious. There are only 95 kosovans living in Slovakia and it is so difficult for Slovak police to handle them.
Funny in it.

There would be no mafia if there wasn't a market for their products. These nations need to combat their own resident drug addicts. Without them, no mafia would exist, anywhere, including in Slovakia or Serbia.

GSP every country has crime and corruption. Now this article and the text presented here only shows these belgrade sponsored propaganda or stereotypes. Although Kosova has crime like any country saying that our mafia is doing all of this without ANY FACTS is just rubbish. What should be alarming is the Kosovar - Serbs building walls, starting "parallel" institution's, making "civilian" guards. Of course you don't consider this 'organized crimes' ---- but history teaches us a lesson, the Srebenica lesson.

Clean Cut, Are disputing that organized crime is thriving in kosovo and involves K-Albanians?
You accuse people of finger pointing but do you dispute that fact?

So far I haven't read any comment written by Albanians admitting to any wrong doing. All I read is excuses offered by the Albanians. These excuses are always the same. The Serbs were so bad to us that now we are suffering trauma and some of our kids act out.
Get real, people from all over former Yugoslavia are traumatized too including the Serbs in Kosovo.

Do you see them committing the same crimes and having such a thriving criminal business?
