azir,

Serbs did awful things. Like Albanians did in 2004.

But hey, if we allow Kosovo to be indepedent we should have allowed the Kurds 20 years ago!

My point is: NO SPECIAL DEAL FOR KOSOVO!

That's all!

If Serbia says: hey, let them go...
Fine with me!

You see?

You are NOT special, you are NOT a special case, we will NOT break international law for you.

Kosovo = Kurdistan = Tibet = Darfur = ....

I'm happy to see how much the Russians have remained steadfast in their support of intl' law and the Serbian Government's postion on Kosovo and Metohija. However, I would caution the Kostunica camp to not fall too far into the arms of mother Russia. I fear that they will be a far more demanding boss than Brussels.Ask yourselves this: Who has nothing to lose in this fight? That's right, the Russians.

But for all the political fighting, none of it adresses the real concern of how to improve the life of a single serb in Kosmet. That is the real tragedy of all this.

Ron, since you are so concerned about international law, where were you with your comments when the serbian military violated the national rights of over two million citizens of Kosova? Or better yet where were you when the upholders of international law were murdering civilians and burying them in mass graves?Guess what, the russians and serbs can talk to each other all they want. After December the 10th,the Kosovars have nothing more to discuss. We will get what is rightfully ours, eternal freedom.

Get over it people. Kosova Independence is a done thing. As soon as you accept this fact as better for you and the future of your children.

Some of you guys need to brush up on your facts and move on with your lives. Fact 1 Kosovo is 96% Albanian and in mid-December will be newest European nation. Can we please acknowledge the situation on the ground that Albanians simply want to be lords over their own domain and that Serbian authority in Kosovo will never work. Lets break the cycle in the balkans and see Kosovo and Serbia move forward as two independent friendly neighbors. The jury's out people.

You just gotta love them Ruskies!! I definitely embrace the policies of the Radicals, let's become a confederate Russian nation. We don't need the EU. There are other flourishing markets and prosperity, like China, Russia, India, Brazil, etc..

Moscow wants more talks!?
It's over, no more, enough, finished, done with.
Kosova parliament should declare it as soon as the new government is formed.

There are gonna be no more talks because everyone had enough of this madness. The rest of the world is ready to start working on real issues that real people must care about, like jobs, health, prosperity, education, business, getting rich, having children, families, etc, etc.

One should remind the EU that there are very large ethnic Russian populations in 2 EU nations - Estonia and Latvia.

One wonders how these countries and the EU would react to a seccesionist terrorism organised and trained by outside intelligence forces - this is what happened to Serbia with BND (German secret services) and the US's CIA who armed and trained the KLA terrorists in the 90's - this is the model that the US and a "few" EU states have created and if they carry on forcing this folly they should be aware of its natural consequences and inevitable repurcussions.

- oh what a tangled web we weave when at first we "conspire" to deceive....

Russia, we arer counting on you!

Also today, Zhukov met Prime Minister Vojislav Koštunica, when they confirmed the joint Serbian - Russian principled policy in the Kosovo negotiating process, based on full respect of international law, UN Security Council Resolution 1244, binding for all, the final Helsinki act and the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia, Tanjug news agency reported.

As long as they keep repeating this Kosovo will never be independent. As for West they are in for a rude awakaning if they think Russia is bluffing and that it will back down. EU is already out fo the race and they will never recognise you as that entity. So any form of independence is non existent. Becuase there is no minimum support for it and that was EU. CCCC
