Joe,

If they were standing with Germmany and supported them by all means, so what to say. They were not killed for no reason. I may say sorry, but don't know who were those people and not heard yet of them. Perhaps they were involved in those brutal murderings of Serbs, Jews.... As for your tax payment I could not care less. Your problem not mine

bmrusila,

The conectivity problem allowed my 1 message.
Continue: Yes what happened in Vojvodina in fall 1944 bothers my very, very much. A week ago Hungarians of Vojvodina mourned the small genocide of some 40,000 innocent peasants, vilage-people masacred by your hero partizans. They are buried in mass graves. Until now it was not even allowed to mention what happened.
tesla,
So those murderers, those partizans are getting pensions? Those are your heros?

bmrusila,

Just quick because of some conectivity problems:
Your recent wars were very much my business. My tax dollars of a US citizen contributed to the financing and victory of good versus evil in bith Bosnia and Kosovo. They were extremely well spent.

Joe,

This news item serves to pay tribute to fallen soldiers and if you could not join in this tribute then you should not address at all to none. Your frustrations could be left for some another news item. I guess you cannot forgive Serbs that Austro-Hungariam empire dissapeared once for good. Or is it Vojvodina that it bothers you so much? Recenent Serbia's war are non of your business as well.

Shame on you Joe for turning a thread of remembrance for Serbia's heroes into a political one. All of our soldiers are hereoes, regardless of whether they faught the Turks in 1389, or 1991, in order to preserve the state of Yugoslavia, and the freedom of the Serbian people, who remember the tragedy of their kin in Croatia from the second world war, and the centuries old crimes committed against Serbs in Bosnia.

We are a proud people and we will never live in a state run by neo-fascists, or those who were vessels of the Turks.

Who started the wars in 1991 is debatable, depending on which ethnic group you belong to, but we honour our soldiers regardless. This is why all of our soldiers have pensions in Serbia, be they partizans, cetniks, or recent veterans. It is sad that in Croatia for instance, many vets are turning to suicide because they do not have the support of the government and people. What a national tragedy that is!

tesla,

As if your losses of WWI and WWII would not have been enough you engineered those recent Balkan wars. The Germans gave up already after WWII and became examplary democrates. I hope for the well-being of your country that you will not have any more war either.

As I comment I left before on another article, these hero's only ask us to remember for just one day of their sacrifice they gave for us.

R.I.P to them all.

Thank you and rest in peace all brave sons and daughters of Serbia who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom.

We remember the mind-numbing sacrifices that were made by our people--losses we incurred in WWI, only to repeat a similar tragedy in WWII.

We remember all of our fallen sons in the recent balkan wars. Our hats our off, and we salute you with gratefulness, yet with bitter tears.

God bless all of you.

Serbia suffered great loss during first world war and never really recovered fully since then. I want to thank Serbian soldiers for defending their and our country, our dignity, our great history. Hope you rest in peace. Serbia will never forget you. You were brave, honest and proud soldiers. I am very proud on you and all our ancestors. You represent great example of patriotism
