EA, You write that my strategy of misinformation and misleading and creating myth won't work any more is ridiculous.
I am not the one misleading or misinforming. I don't work for CNN.

Peggy,

You strategy of misleading and misinforming as well creating myths doesn't work any more. Why is NATO in Kosova since 1999? Was she invited by the Serbian government? We need a coffee now)

Peggy said:
" They simply don't think that KLA leaders would be the best thing for the people of Kosovo. "

Peggy with that kind of thinking coming from Serbs there will never be peace in the Balkans. It is not up to you or any Serb from Serbia to decide who is going to govern Kosova/o. That is up only to the people of Kosova/o who with their vote have the right to choose who will govern them, and if that means that through their votes they choose former KLA fighters to govern them, then so be it. That is democracy at its best, the people choose not some Kostunica type from Belgrade.
You and all your Serb politicians wanting to decide who will govern us, wanting to decide what is good for the people of Kosova/o is very very bad for the Balkans. Only the people of Kosova/o have the right to decide for themselves. With all that said your attitude which reflects that of Serbian politicians is the core reason why we will never be under Serbia ever again. You or any Serb from Serbia proper contrary to what you may think do not have the natural right to make decisions for us, to choose who governs us, and not even tell us what you think is good or bad for us. We the natives of Kosova/o decide.
Once you get that through your head we can move on.

EA, For someone who doesn't even know the name of the province to be telling me what to read is laughable.
Serbia is not offering autonomy just so Albanians want to be citizens of Serbia. Serbia is offering autonomy because that's all you are entitled to. With the atrocities of KLA even autonomy is a bit too much to ask for.
Don't start with the same old worn out argument about Serbian atrocities against the Albanians. It was the KLA who started the whole unrest and Serbia had no choice but to defend it's people.
It was only after NATO bombing that masses of people were leaving and not because of any ethnic cleansing on the Serbian part.
Actually the ethnic cleansing was done by the Albanians.
If you read John Pilger's book "The new rulers of the world" you will find that 200,000 Serbs and non Albanians were expelled from Kosovo right under the noses of NATO.
Stop accusing the victims of the crimes of their perpetrators.

Once again Peggy is right. Serbia does care about all its people. So much so, it is now the most multi-ethnic country left of what used to be Yugoslavia. The secessionist States separated on a tide of nationalism and the Albanians in Kosovo have always led the way, carrying a Flag of the poorest, most backward country in Europe. Perhaps that's why NATO has staked their claim to that land; they know that they can lead those misguided folks anywhere.

Now, the KLA leadership that now is in power in Kosovo, there is a group that cares not for their citizens. They killed all ethnicities in the nineties, including their own, and ethnically cleansed the minorities in the new millennium. NATO aided and abetted.

All minorities and moderates should boycott this farce called democratic Kosovo. I think it will not matter however. Thaci and Ceku have probably already voted for them (the dead too) and placed it in a pre-stuffed ballot box.

The main problem with Serbian leaders' statements regarding Serbs in Kosova is that they have no clue that what to do with these people. They never speak about their daily lives, their children educuation, their jobs, their poverty or richness, their future.

The only thing that politicians in Belgrade know how to do perfectly is the "Traffic Policing" of crowds. Go there, come here, go left, don't do that, do this, take this AK-47, go and fight those people over there, come back, stay there, don't do this, don't do that...you get the idea. And those poor people fall easily victims to their flocking only because they blindly beleive what their "compatriots" have no malicious intentions whatsoever.

If I were a Serb in Kosova, I would do what the international community would ask or suggest me to do, Not Albanians (I'm Albanian by the way), Not Serbs in Belgrade. If you want your voice to be heard, you should speak up yourself. If you delegate your voice, you will never have your own, and so you will always be between games and easy crowd to play with.

EA

Peggy,

I don't what is your knowledge about politics is but read throught what the Serbian government has stated historically about Kosova. I give you a hand to start with.
From "Kosova issue is an internal Serbian affair".....to "we are ready to "give" Kosova 95 per cent autonomy....". Actually it will be 99.99 per cent independent.....just for Kosovar Albanians to accept to be Serbian citizens again.

Peggy

pre 16 godina

EA, Now you are an authority on what the Serbian government thinks and why.

The Serbian government doesn't care about Serbs and Albanians in Kosovo is what you said. I think the Serbian government cares very much about the people there. Just because they don't want to give up their territory doesn't mean they don't care about the people. They simply don't think that KLA leaders would be the best thing for the people of Kosovo.

I would hold the government of Serbia in great contempt if they agreed to hand over the population of Kosovo to KLA.

Also since when is the guy who is being robbed being irresponsible if he gives resistance to the robbers. If he puts up a fight that mean he cares very much about what is being taken away form him.

Please in the future stop making the ridiculous comments like Serbia doesn't care about the Serbs.
I can say the same thing. Albanian leadership in Kosovo doesn't care about Albanians there because they are bucking the system.

things have happened between Serbs and Albanian and we cannot deny what happened;

To talk at official level with the delegation of a break away province is to reckognize them;
The language you're using is the one who destroyed Yougoslavia, the most developed of the former socialist countries.

It is true that some people fled the prison in Kosovo but don't forget that some other people killed your prime minister in the middle of the main Belgrade square.

How and why is it irresponsible to have elections? Only a twisted mind could call the right to vote for those who will represent you, an irresponsible act. I believe Samardzic is one of those people, and with people like this is very easy to negotiate. You simply ignore their twisted views totally.

What he is saying is that, they SHOULD have the right to vote. I agree with that 100%. But the fact that Pristina is not capable of organising these votes without corruption and games makes it a joke. If UN took responsibility for them, then anything wrong would be on their shoulders. So this way you know as we do that there is an underground plot against the Serbs. Its OK though we don't need masters like you do. We handle our own business as we always have. CCCC

It's strange. The Serbia Gov't flies to Viena and Bruxelles to sit down and talk with the Kosova Albanian leadership thus fully reckognizing them; on the other hand they urge Serb Kosova people, who have to contribute to the governing and development of Kosova, not to go to the polls.

talking with some Albanians doesn´t mean to recognize them... is that what the albanian yellow press is teaching you?

better don´t believe it!
those who are involved in the "negotiations" are not more than representatives of the albanian minority in Serbia.

and the reason why they are meeting in Brussels is that the Albanians are not capable of organizing it on a level that would be sufficiently safe in regard to european standards...
you are not even capable of caring of your own criminals, as it seems ( you are saying that those who were killed by the macedonian security forces were criminals from a prison in Kosovo... you cannot keep them behind bars? )
