Kate, Jovan & company: It is reactions like these that make it impossible for any Albanian (or Serbs for that matter) to agree to something their side has done wrong. And what these guys are doing has nothing to do with Kosova or the Albanians in general.
First of all you show how little you understand of the Albanian cause if you see it as something monolithic, like the Velika Serbia cause for instance. The Albanian cause is important to all of us but it does not imply a Greater Albania. It implies an independent Kosova and equal rights in Macedonia.
And Kate I mentioned the ANA just to point out that even a radical group like that distanced itself from what happened. And please tell what are some of the terrible things the ANA has done so far since you always seem to be so well informed? Besides committing the terrible crime of appearing in a video, that is. Furthermore the news that civilians were killed were also untrue and even the ANA distanced itself from the group. So well done to the Macedonian police. I just hope that given the turbulent times our region is going through the Macedonians and the Albanians of Macedonia can keep cooperating in order to prevent such people from destroying all the achievements that there have been since the Ohrid Agreement.

The correct analogy would be if France was to invade New York oppress it for decades, discriminate against you, and make the official language French. I think you would have every right to say ' I will speak English', and I would support you.

This is also a reason why Kosovo needs to be handled with care, because we have very similar signs here as we had with Serbia/Kosovo. Rash decisions with Kosovo could give a green light to other such extremist gangs across Montenegro, Greece, Central Serbia and here in Macedonia where other pieces of land exist in the so-called Greater Albania. Such extreme nationalism needs to be checked immediately, because it is dangerous and I hope the international community realize this quickly!

One minute it starts with gangs terrorizing the authorities and local citizens, the military/police force reacts coercively against the gang and collaborators, the international community and Albanian community cries genocide and intervenes, we have another limbo status "state" in the Balkans. I really hope that Macedonia play this one carefully and that the international community sees this pattern with these terrorists and come to the conclusion that violence cannot be rewarded with the self-determination of a part of a sovereign state.

Before any of these states join the EU all Albanian terrorists need to be either disarmed or liquidated because they are really dangerous, if one looks at the potential bigger picture, or am I the only one who sees this?

Why are Serbs from Kosovo restricted to North of Kosovks Mitrovicka and other small pockets? Why do Albanian serbs (yes because thats what they are) refuse to speak they official language and more they forbide their children to learn it? Regarding the number of Indicted for war crimes in Serbia that is all a matter of speach, as you for sure know if you are aware of what is going on in this world. Why the law of Hague tribunal does not apply to American citizens? What are they afraid of? So please Mr Teni get real and start looking at this world as it is and not through a sight turved by preconceptions. I can understand why you are reacting that way...but, it is still a fact:

K-Albanians have no moral, historical or at least legal rights to grab away serbian territory.
nothing has changed.

there is still UNSC 1244 that would give Serbia every right to intervene.

of course we all hope that won´t be necessary, and I truly believe that most Albanians are not that stupid, that they pretty well know that there can´t be more than a broad autonomy.

Everyone is jumping the gun too quickly. We are told that 6 people have died, shootings since in the morning, a house on fire, etc, but yet I have yet to see an image of any of these things. All I see in the media is that Macedonian tank---that's it. So I'm just going to ask everyone to just sit quietly and stop making such irrational claims.

The action taken by the Macedonian Police was fully coordinated with the local people of the Sar region, Kosovo Police and KFOR. They were on the trail of the criminals that escaped from the Dubrava prison in Kosovo for a few weeks now, they were just waiting for the right moment. On the Kosovo side of the Sar mountain, KFOR and Kosovo police were guarding the border in order to prevent the gang from going into Kosovo. In fact many troops were sent there for many days now. KFOR Helicopters were patrolling on both sides of the border. Also, which is very important, Kosovo government complimented the Macedonian Police for a job well done.
