Glavaš faces new trial

The trial of Branimir Glavaš, accused of war crimes in Osijek in 1991, started afresh yesterday for procedural reasons.

It took 16, sixteen years to consider punishment of such an individual - known by so many Croats and Serbs to be the mastermind behind lots of questionable events in the former Sector East. He must have had very strong protection - or just living in a country that apply for membership of the EU and NATO? Rule of Law, Croatia - does that sound familiar to you?
