RS assembly in permanent session

The political crisis in Bosnia is not abating; Bosnian Serbs, Miroslav Lajčak, still fail to see eye to eye.

Yes definitely you can't forget the "verge of defeat of the RS army" obviously omitting the fact that NATO joined in with airstrikes to force us to give up. Obviously this "verge of defeat" was at the hands of the Muslims and Croats only... and i'm sure in '95 there was ne genocide in Krajina, Glamoc, or Drvar either. You can tell that to many of my friends who were expelled from the region in '95... If they had such an upper hand, why didn't they just defeat us, you had the US support to do so... we do know serbs are unwelcome as citizens anywhere outside of serbia, and that has always been the case throughout the centuries, as shown by agression during Ottoman rule, the 2 world wars (NDH), as well as politically in Bosnia today.

What about democracy for Bosnia?
Western commentators fret about dictatorships in Burma and Pakistan yet turn a blind eye to the EU's colonial rule in 'over-emotional' Bosnia.
David Chandler

While international attention has focused on the political instability in Burma and Pakistan in recent weeks, few commentators have picked up on turmoil in one small corner of Europe. Last week, the Bosnian government collapsed in a series of protests and recriminations over the role of the international High Representative, demonstrating that 12 years of international bureaucratic rule has done little to bring social and political cohesion to this tiny state.

Very simple my Balkan neighbors. Bosnia is a state that Serbs don't desire to live in. Bosniaks don't want Serbs to have their own state in Bosnia and most have an animosity towards the Serbs. So give RS to Serbia. And don't say oh ethnic cleansing because frankly alot of Serbs were kicked out of muslim towns like Tuzla into the RS besides RS was formed before the war broke out. After RS joins Serbia Bosnia becomes a unified country with no ethnic rivalries and Serbia will now be appeased for giving up Kosovo's southern portion while still keeping the northern serb enclaves. If only I were a politician.

Alex: The reason they signed a deal they were experencing the defeat of there military in 95. The Croatian and Bosnian armies were on the door steps of Banja Luka if it went all of Srpska would have collapsed. Britain and the US threatened to put economic sanctions on Croatia if they took Banja Luka and completely routed the Serbs army. Im sure 12 years later the west is regreting it did not let it happen. Also the 690,000 still ethninacaly cleansed from Srpska and the 10s of thousand murdered ,disapeared showing up in mass graves in Srpska. Also regret it that the Serbs did not pay for there crimes.

BadGorilla: That sort of disgusting comment should have been censored by B92. Do you have any clue as to what was done to the Serbs in Croatia in '95? If you don't know do some reading.

Lenard: Time for you to grow up and realise that the only reason Serbs signed Pro-peace was due to the fact that they could block any law that wasn't in their interest. As could Bosniaks and Croats.

One thing for Bosniaks: be careful what you wish for. What if Bosnia became a centralised state and Serbs and Croats start teaming up to form a majority.... It would be likely to happen due to your political arrogance. Even now, Dodik wants a Croat entity.

Srpska is the biggest whiner and bully around. Now they are throwing a tantrum and threatening not to speak with any one if they don't get there way. Except with there big brother Serbia that is there partner in crime and murderers of Bosnia. Now Serbs talk of spirit of good will the rule of law ,rights and of course all those rights just for them selfs. There rights of having there 1/3 vote rule the day and Bosnia what a joke on Bosnia and the international community. It is time for the Serbs to grow up ,take the responsibility for what they have done and join the real world.

It’s time to Republika Srpska to be extinguished and Bosnia be re-unified as a single, unitary and secular nation-state. As the same way that happened in Croatia (who will join EU in 3 years) in 1995.
