That makes me feel sad. What about univeral principles.

And foreign policy should be consistent.

You can't say: Kosovo can get independent, but the people of Tibet, well, sorry guys.... you have the bad luck being part of China.

KS, you can't mean this!

Ron you can't cry wolf now. It is because of the very inconsistent policies you mention that Kosova/o and other Albanian territories are under the control of other states. In 1912 it was us Albanians who were stating the obvious when the Russians, Serbs and Greeks were dividing our lands. At the time these countries were lucky they had the backing of the Russians and we were alone. Since then we learned that the laws and rules in this world are nut just, they're just tools for the big powers to rule the small countries. Having learned that we set to undo the injustice and now we are almost achieving undoing some of those injustices. It is simple. Are thing going to change in the future against us. Who knows, maybe. But that is how the world is. Believing the opposite is just naive, it gets you nowhere.

"Balkan War starts again, America has to intervene once again".

So, this means that Albanians would induce war again in order to reach the goals. This only tells me and each they Albanian posters confirm how violent nation you are. I just wonder what will you pople say this time-who attacked you. There are no more Serbs to blame for using the forse against "inocent" Albanians. What is next? Violence, violence, violence (primitive way to heal frustrations)

Ron, if Kosova goes into fresh turmoil, it will be a precedent for the whole Europe, while this place holds no significants (to intervene). America wants Kosova status resolved so that Europe can stabilize. Kosova is a time-bomb ready to happen.

Furthermore, if America backs out of Kosova and Balkan War starts again, America has to intervene once again.

It's mainly security reasons, plus geographic control.

Also if you look at state dept that America has more than one FP. You have "FP on Europe", "FP on Asia" so don't try to apply logic to how America handles ALL foreign affairs.

Last thing to say is that don't rely on "new Russia" as its growing power (supposedly) is based on OIL exporting.

Read this, especially the second paragraph half-way in the article.

"This, the newspaper says, comes "despite a lack of any historical or ethnic connections [with Moldova], and against the will of the vast majority of its 550,000 inhabitants who prefer independence and self-determination."

Someone please substitute Transdniestra for Kosovo?

Why we (the West) want Kosovo to become independent, but on the same time we want Transdniestra to be part of Moldova.

Come on. Let Transdniestra join Ukraine. And let Moldova join Rumania.
