"For the UK to force an illegal recognition of the Serbian province of Kosovo & Metohija would be tantemount to signing the end of the UK itself into it's component "Nation" states which have a historical, ethnic and definitive border that the Serbian province has none of to call a Nation!"

Actually princip knows very well his last sentence is false, there obviously is a historic region of Kosovo/a with a defined border etc, one reason it had a special status in the SFRY until forcefully abolished in 1989.

On the other hand, I agree with your point. If independence for Kosova can hasten the movement for self-determination of Scotland and the final release of the Northern ireland colony into some kind of special status under Irish sovereignty, then I see that end of the remnants of a colonial state a very good result. Any progressive-minded 'British'person should agree. If the 'UK' supports Kosova independence and inadvertently hastens this outcome despite itself, that's its problem.

"It's no exaggeration to say that it threatens the stability of the United Kingdom."

- one could equally suggets the same if the UK government of PM Brown were to Illegally go against the UN SC resolution they formulated and signed which re-affirmed Serbia's sovereignity over its province of Kosovo & Metohija which is not a nation nor has never been a nation but is merely a administrative province that just happens to be currently majority populated by ethnic Albanians.

Fro the UK to force an illegal recognition of the Serbian province of Kosovo & Metohija would be tantemount to signing the end of the UK itself into it's component "Nation" states which have a historical, ethnic and definitive border that the Serbian province has none of to call a Nation!

All those dreamers of the UK following the "dumya" US foreign policy are clearly totally unaware that the UK govt. have a domestic challenge which is the priority namely stopping the partition of the state and would hardly want to weaken this position irrevocally because of some ethnic-Albanians within Serbia.
