I find it absolutely *hilarious* that the majority of you are bickering about the nationality of the criminals..
And you know what i find funnier? The fact that government agencies, professional companies and other institutions are bound by ethnic lines of co-operation, meanwhile criminals like this are free to cause hell all over europe, and not even give their ethnic designations a second thought!
It turns out the truth is they were a mixture of Germans, French, North Africans, Russians, Turks and Georgians, but they said they were a mixture of Balkan peoples to encourage multi-ethnic harmony in Kosovo/a

I state that it does not matter the ethnicity of those involved but that they all need to be locked up for a very long time as they clearly do not care for the destruction of lives that they wreak upon the weak individuals who for one reason or other perceive drugs as an escape from reality or a "buzz".
Anyone involved in the trade of illicit drugs deserves to be locked away for a very long time as they clearly have little respect for their fellows humans and bring this tradegy upon all ethnicties.

some reports do include a mention of a Montenegrin bodyguard to a Serbian trafficker being arrested in Amsterdam so it was a truly pan-Balkan gang of low lifes!
The worst thing is that Heroin production that is sweeping in via Turkey, Albania & outhern Serbia and then into the rest of Europe is being allowed to grow in abundance in Afghanistan when there are 60,000+ NATO and US forces stationed there - guess where other NATO troops are stationed in South East Europe....
When it comes to money then they care if you are albanian, Serbian, roma whatever money talks. No one cares about what nationalitly you are. Now that is like one poster said cooperation.
pure economics, if there's demand there's going to be supply. business is business and it overrides ethnicity, especially in the lucrative drug trade. so don't hate drug traffickers, if they weren't doing it somebody else would be.
