Well I'm glad they solved this. Another sneeky tactic by the Albanian side to get Serbia in hot water. When the Albanians say independence by all means, I guess they mean it ;-)

First of all, smart comments by posters such as EA, olli, village-bey, et al are significantly NOTED BY THEIR ABSENCE! Interesting.

I applaud the Serb forces in "conjunction" with KFOR as this a rare disclosure. If only the truth about Sarajevo marketplace Markale and Mostar bridge, just to name but TWO OF THE NUMEROUS TERRIBLE PROPAGANDA INJUSTICES WAGED AGAINST THE SERBS IN MANY YEARS, then maybe we wouldn't be painted as the monsters the US amongst others do...

I applaud them in particular as this kind of thing happens ALL THE TIME but since these negotiations have restarted I've been IMPRESSED with Belgrade's international diplomatic onslaught.

I know this sort of information doesn't get into the mainstream media as the media isn't interested in apologizing for giving us wrong information at first but there are places where you can actually read the truth.

CNN and BBC and the like are like a warehouse for news. They mass produce and don't normally verify.
When they get it wrong they are not likely to admit it as it might lose them credibility.
Once the bias against a certain ethnic group is established firmly, it is very hard to change it. Asking these warehouses to go back and rewrite their misinformation is not going to happen.

If the Serbs have staged this as a stunt it would be all over CNN and BBC again exposing the Serbs as untrustworthy but because it is credible information I wonder how many media groups will expose it.

How do you know that NATO wasn't planning the fake attack? NATO is America's tool to dominate Europe.

Get real..kfor and kps aren't gullible idiots. Everyone knows how VS stages these tip offs, in order to gain trust after totally losing credibility in Bosnia and in their parliamentarians, after racist rhetoric and their meddling in Bos/Kos internal affairs has been condemned by Europe and the US with their Demarche letters. Everyone now thinks twice before buying anything coming out of VS or Belgrade.

This is like one of the chapters of Don Quijote: Serbian Army (VS) fighting against immaginary enemies...lol. Keep up the charade!

You are absolutely correct. Ths whole thing was staged by VS to show how thrustworthy they are. It was a cheap PR. I am just wondering when will they stage the next similar comedy.

I completely agree with you - these things are not to be made public - we are in an age where news moves so fast that even Iraq and Afghanistan isn't important to apologise or tell the truth for - Iran is the new buzzword. So what chance does a series of incidents in Croatia, Bosnia, Kosovo - particularly 17 years ago!!!

My hope about Sarajevo and Mostar was almost a sarcastic one and my point was that I'm surprised that this came out at all!

Whilst the Serb Army was busy on the ground defending Serbian terratorial integrity and the non-Albanian population, the politicians were muted by the politik of Milosevic.

The propaganda war was waged successfully against Serbia by all concerned and not at all by Serbia ... then. Only recently have they re-discovered diplomacy and it's made a real difference this time round...

Of course, it helps that Bush's British lapdog is now out of power...!

Of course Serbia's international diplomacy it has been more active and considared internationally,especially by super powers states.Lately Serbia's leaders are behaving and acting same as the former leader (Milosevic)who destroyed the population of Yugoslavia and the most Serbians.
