"Milosevic is a convenient scape goat for you isn't he? Why the terror against the Serbs before Milosevic time? Why were so many Serbs forced to sell up and leave Kosovo before Milosevic? These things are all documented so please stop with finger pointing and using the same old lame excuse for land grab. "

Dear Peggy
You have to ask those serbs who sold their houses in Kosova, or maybe you are still beliving that your authorities really did develop ( put any money ) ,in Kosova.
They did not, Kosova build it itself, as much as it could, the money which was granted as loan to ex YU from intenational monetary institutions, it was used from your prior politicians, to make wars, to make happening Srebrenica, Vukovar, many villages in Kosova, etc... that why your serbs from Kosova have left , they thought they will get a piece from this money, they weren't used to live as albanians in solidarity.

Ahmet, It is your propaganda which is unraveling now.
Why would Serbia ask for escorts if they were not needed and why would anyone provide such escorts if not needed?

It is so easy to say come over here or there and see for yourself when you know that this is not practical for most people.

Every time the Albanians read something that doesn't go their way they automatically proclaim "propaganda".

Well this is just your word against the word of many journalists who write the opposite.

Peggy, you missed the point. "why Serbian children need armored escort", I tell you why becasue serbian govermant wants them to be escorted and i have personally seen a document sent to UNMIK hq just before school started anda they asked UNMIK/KFOR to provide escort, which was turned down and that document was handed to KPS to only observe the children's movememant from distance.I can tell you that all Serb school children in Peja Region move freeely without any escort. Come and visit Peja Region and you will see it for yourself.Stp spreading propaganda, it is not going to wash.

Sam,
Get off your high horse please. The K-Albanians are in no position to preach moral standards to anyone let alone the Serbs.

I wonder if your KLA politicians are ever going to tell their grand children about the murders and expulsion of hundreds of thousands of Serbs and other non Albanians from Kosovo.
I wonder if they will ever allow over 200,000 Serbian and non Albanian refugees from Kosovo to return to their homes.

I wonder if they will tell their grand children about the Serbs living behind barbed wire and Serbian children having to be escorted in armored vehicles to school. Why do they have to be escorted in armored vehicles to school? Why are Serbian children under threat?
The K-Albanians have a lot to be ashamed of but you are not going to mention any of their crimes. You keep pointing the finger at the Serbs.

Milosevic is a convenient scape goat for you isn't he? Why the terror against the Serbs before Milosevic time? Why were so many Serbs forced to sell up and leave Kosovo before Milosevic? These things are all documented so please stop with finger pointing and using the same old lame excuse for land grab.

Most of the exodus by Albanians happened when NATO started bombing and NOT before as you would like the world to think. K-Albanians have always wanted to break away and join up with Albania. That is not a secret. You have just decided to use Milosevic as a convenient excuse now.
Milosevic has been dead for a long time and out of power for ever longer. Think of a new excuse now.

Sam,

really are you so certain that the Serbian society is living on Myths or is it you?

"The death toll in Kosovo was in the hundreds before the start of the bombing campaign. It was around 5,000 by the end. Not quite the "genocide" that some people claimed, incidentally, but not a good precedent either.

I was working at Amnesty International during the Kosovo crisis. I first visited refugee camps in Albania and Macedonia during the conflict and then spent a year in Pristina seconded into the UN High Commissioner for Refugees. Tony Blair says that we "reversed ethnic cleansing" there, but I would not count the expulsion of over 100,000 Serbs and Roma from a province guarded by 40,000 Nato troops as a success."
- Conor Foley 20th April 2007. Foley is a humanitarian aid worker. He has worked for a variety of human rights and humanitarian aid organizations, including Liberty, Amnesty International and the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), in Kosovo,http://commentisfree.guardian.co.uk/take_two/2007/04/oliver_kamm_v_conor_foley.html

Oh and by the way that figure of 5,000 that Foley refers to is backed up by the UN and is made up of all ethnicities and death by all too including the deaths at the hands of NATO bombardment.

I believe that the negligence of the international community has affected too much the interests of both; Kosovars and Serbs. Kosovo's issue should have been resolved right after the war. There was no need to delay it. Both Kosovars and Serbs could have been in a better economic situation. THey could have spared a lot of energy, which could be used for something more positive, and could have made thus many steps forward in terms of EU integration. The relations after the tragic war could have been normalized by now.

I wonder if Serb ordinary citizens know that over 10 000 KOsovar civilians (I am talking here only about civilians) have been killed by their state forces. Or they have to wait until new generations will come and the Serb soldiers and police (involved in Kosovo war)will tell proudly their grandsons how they have killed Kosovar children, women and unarmed men.

I wonder whether they know why NATO has bombed them.

I wonder whether they continue to live in myths and lies. I wonder how long it will take to them to overcome it. The break-up of Yugoslavia is a blatant example how dear will pay a nation who lives in myths. I do never believe that Serb society will have an EU perspective without facing with the real problems that led to the bloody wars all over Yugoslavia; Without facing with its Milosevician past.
