Contrary to the rather pessimistic opinions of many here, Serbia is still a very well-ordered society as far as personal security is concerned. In the UK, where gun controls are very stringent, there is nevertheless a rapidly growing incidence of lethal shootings, while a knife is used in commission of a crime every 24 minutes. Occasionally it would be a good thing for Serbs to be reminded of the aspects of this country of which they should be proud.
