To Tom O'Donoghue:

Sir, I share your opinion totally and have been advocating the same. It is not worthwhile losing your country and dignity when there are better alternatives than the EU; for example, look to the east. There is plenty of prosperity evolving
there, and if Serbia has to become a Russian confederation, so be it, at least it will remain intact. Once again, the Radicals are the party to accomplish this task.

Well said Tom O'Donoghue, the EU should also think long and hard if this strategy they are playing will actually work? Perhaps if the EU was more open and supportive towards Serbia then perhaps they might get something in return for what is given.

I have said it before:

Croatia handed over its top war criminals in exchange for not only their own state but a enlarged (Greater Croatia) one as well.

"Give a little get a little"

«Whatever you think about Milosevic, it is a fact that he did not get a fair trial at the ICTY»

He argued for over four years with judges, trying to persuade them that he had nothing to do with the war in Bosnia, that no crimes happened in Bosnia or in Kosovo, that Serbia only defended itself! And he died without even expressing a word of sorrow or compassion...

And you say that he did not have ennough time to have a fair trial!

Please stop this propaganda, and stop defending war criminals who have knowingly and deliberately committed crimes against humanity during the war, persecution and even a genocide. You do not help the cause of the Serbs with such negationnism of the facts, and such protectionnism of war criminals.

So Del Ponte is holding a gun to the head of the Serbian state. "Hand over Mladic or forget about the EU."
If I was in a position of power in Serbia I would think long and hard about that. Whatever you think about Milosevic, it is a fact that he did not get a fair trial at the ICTY. In many ways it resembles a kangaroo court.
What the Serbian government and people have to decide is how much of their sovereignty and independence they are willing to sacrifice in order to satisfy the EU. Sometimes it is necessary to say no.

«He underlined that, according to the operative data he possessed, Ratko Mladić had hidden in military facilities until June 1, 2002, and then in flats in Belgrade, then in places outside Belgrade. »

If he knew where Mladic was hiding all the time, how come he did not give orders to arrest him ??

Actually, I am sure that Tadic knows where he is, and he still under protection of the army and persons of... (personnes de premier plan) who does not want him to end up at The Hague!
