Again people are misunderstanding the news article. The court decided that the Albanian flag cannot be flown on public buildings except on certain holidays. It doesn't stop private citizens flying the flag where ever else they want to. You cannot expect a government of a country to allow a flag other than their own to be flown from their own buildings.
Albanians don't make up 40% of the population - the census only revealed 25%.
Also I don't think Serbia ever banned flying the Albanian flag in Kosovo. Kosovo itself has never had its own flag. Vojvodina does now though.

I think what the courts are doing is illegal and stirring up ethnic tension between the over 40 percent albanian minority and the so called macedonian wich is really below 20 percent . The true macedonian live in greece.
Macedonia has a choice - it can follow the politics of Serbia in Kosovo, i.e. ban the flag an the rest..., (look where it got Serbia though) or be pragmatic, realistic, and make albanians (whose percentge is closer to 30-40%) feel like equal citizens.
Why shound albanian identity be reflected on the national symbols? we are not talking about 2% or 3% of popuation but close to half of population!!
