Kosheen concert in Belgrade Sat 3 November 2007 cancelled
"Kosheen have been distressed and sorry to learn in past few days, of Poseidon Hall's, Belgrade former use.
If Kosheen had known it's true history, they would never have agreed to play the venue, and as such Kosheen have canceled their show there.

They have been trying to reschedule the show into another venue in Belgrade, since they were made aware of the controversy surrounding the Hall, but couldn't at short notice, and now hope to re-schedule the gig in another venue in the near future.

Kosheen would like to thank the fans that brought this to their attention, and apologise to anyone upset by the proposed show and to our fans who have bought tickets to see us"

Mito,

What does Serbia’s embassy have to do with the jurisdiction of Ontario?

Your view is similar to saying Canada’s embassy in Belgrade should do something about concerts in Herzegovina.

Yes Victor I have also heard that it was canceled, and rightfully so. My thanks to the Simon Wiesenthal Center and those who helped shut this down. I am however very angry with the Serbian embassy in Ottawa for not protesting the very minute this news appeared which was about 2 weeks ago!

Talking about concert, did you know that Perkovic's concert in Toronto has been cancelled?

I have sent many emails to both governments, in Ontario and Ottawa, with many friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center , and I am glad to read this on Serbianna.com:

«As a result of the efforts of the Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center for Holocaust Studies (FSWC), the planned Toronto concert of Croatian singer Marko Perkovic, known as 'Thompson', has been cancelled. The Center also wants his upcoming Vancouver concert cancelled. »
