I don't see how this will help at all. It's simple, either Ukraine pays for gas price increases when they come, or they do not. Increases will come, so it is up to Ukraine, not russia. Heck, Ukraine wanted to be in the West, so they should face the consequences. Also, the West should face the consequences for supporting the pro-West movement in Ukraine. The consequence is that the Pro-Wests in Ukraine will usurp gas going to the West because the West won't subsidize their gas... so why should Russia?

I don't see how this will help at all. It's simple, either Ukraine pays for gas price increases when they come, or they do not. Increases will come, so it is up to Ukraine, not russia. Heck, Ukraine wanted to be in the West, so they should face the consequences. Also, the West should face the consequences for supporting the pro-West movement in Ukraine. The consequence is that the Pro-Wests in Ukraine will usurp gas going to the West because the West won't subsidize their gas... so why should Russia?
