Though all these talks of disobedience, effectively Srpska politicians know that without provoking Bosnian War II, there would be no way of attaching Srpska lands to Serbia (remember: Brcko and Posavina cut Srpska in two georgaphically).

But all the armed forces Srpska got are the Bosnian Serb Regional Police (the Bonsian Armed Forces and Federal Police are now under Sarajevo control) and eventual paramilitary formations like the “Tigers” or the “Tsar Lazar Guard”. But this would not be enough to counter the NATO forces present in Bosnia, nor NATO planes stationed elsewhere in Europe.

So I think all the talk about “Srpska independence” is quite stupid, to say the least.

Maximum autonomy and more decentralization are the keys to having a prosperous Bosnia. It is foolish beyond belief to think that if the Muslims did not want to live in Yugoslavia why they would insist on a forced marriage with Serbs in Bosnia. Each one of the 3 groups should have maximum control over all of their own respective institutions even more so than the 3 groups in Switzerland. It is even more ironic that these centralization proposals are coming from a Slovak diplomat whose own people peacefully and admirably divorced from the Czechs not too long ago.Shalom

Well Princip and Dragan, if you think that Bosnian issue should be open please open it. But I think that there would be a problem, International Community and Bosnians themselves are the ones that would oppose it. Last experience that B-Serbs had with Serbia is the one of betrayal, same as the Krajina Serbs. Enough of playing with peoples life’s. This article tells that there are political problems in the Bosnian parliament nothing else. Who knows where Princips and Dragans suggestion would lead. Be carefull!

b92, please bring back the time when you checked news and put them in context before setting them online.

This is a cheap echo of old propaganda.

1st: Dodik changed its stand as seen yesterday on tv, after he met lajcak in Banja Luka. He said, that he will reconsider his former position.

2nd: Dodik changed its mind extremly fast concerning lajcak friday decisions. friday:"banja luka revolution"; saturday: severe consequences; sunday: after getting confirmed by his comrades, he announced a ultimatum with a withdrawl of his comrades from state institutions (not his own withdrawl!!!)

3rd: lajcaks decision consists of 3 parts

And the first got effective already friday, there 1st of dec is only of relevance for the othe parts...

4th: After reading the decision, you would came to the point, that there was some intended misinterpretation, because the changes don't take any rights, they just demand, that politicians have to show up to decide, so they can no longer block decisions by spending the days on the golf court...

Princip - brilliantly said. Anyone who thinks that Kosovo is a unique case is living in dreamland. The actions of the US will have ramifications for all secessionist movements around the world, and encourage terrorism and separatism.

"Lajcak has given the Parliament until December 1 to adopt the measures; otherwise, he said, he will simply impose them."

- one wonders will Lajcak impose them on the 11th December?

Things are getting more complex all the time and more and more interwined. The Western technocrats are likly to get themselves caught in a web of their own making suggesting the Dismemberment of Serbia around this time will release a pandora's box of seccionist repurcussions across the Western Balkans, Europe and Globally.
