People like Ahmet are taking advantage of their UNMIK passport which through some grave error has allowed many to obtain citizenship in so many countries outside of the one they invaded. As long as they have these passports, they have carte blanche.

When will the UN/US/EU learn?

"Yes and Kosova should set up a temporary parliament in the Valley."

theres a thought, but it wont work
mainly because unlike serbia, kosova :) is not a state.
and then there's a bunch of our cops in that region nato-standard trained and equipped who are preventing trouble and maintaining peace.
its very quiet and secure in the valley, not thanks to kosova :). and, both presevo area and kosovo are serbian territories as things stand.
serbia will not trade one part of its territory for another. if albania, for instance, would like to trade its north for our south, maybe something could be done. we give albania kosovo, and albania gives us northern areas, lots of mountains and a coastline, a bit like montenegro then.
seriously, when kosovo gets a seat in the un as an independent state i will be the first to congratulate you.
i say this without any malice, i dont think it will ever happen, short of coups both in belgrade and moscow.
theres one thing albanians need to consider and that is that no one serb and no serb government can give kosovo away, because we own it through our lives lost there in centuries and through law. it is legally, morally and historically ours, without ever disputing there is a country called albania to which albanians are undeniably entitled.
ther were crimes in kosovo by both sides, so those who did that should face justice. we will not create another country because someone committed a crime, we will send them to jail. serbs were expelled en masse from croatia and there were also crimes against them. should they get a country on the croatian territory?
serbia right now is in a better position regarding kosovo than it was at any point since june 1999. i can honestly say that i am much less worried now than i was a year ago.

Well Ahmet you said step one foot outside the enclave well i will remember what you said the jobs will be there and infrastructure will be there power will be free KEK will still have problems Belgrade will ensure the power flows. people will be stepping in the enclaves like they step to Serbia for a passport. Ignorant people will be left in the mudd as people realize both Serbs and albanians need each other.

'you should better go and get a job, and do something for the increase of that laughable GDP of 3 percent.'

True as this is, it won't happen. It will, if Serb civilians take it upon themselves to re-populate Kosovo, buying land and building homes, businesses and a life for themselves.

IMO, it should happen now. Then see how successful any sort of Albanian independence declaration is ...

Ordinary Serbs need to be more activist about this, and this is the perfect non-violent way to do it, as well as being the perfect way to send a message to the Albanian minority in Serbia.

Ohhh there is a border there that we control. :) Making it much much more complex then that. So lets see you enforce anything beyond that red line while claiming Kosovo is an independent state. CCCC

Let`s start with five and aim at five hundred. The most important thing is bringing back 180.000 non albanian refugees still living in Serbia and making sure that they get the vote as well.

"According to Bogdanović, this would help maintain the continuity of state authority in that province".
What authority is he talking about, when he mentiones five villages + half of City of Mitrovica. My question is what happened to the rest of Kosova? You ask me, I will let you run those five villages any time. No big deal, but one step outside the village you will follow the laws of Kosova state. Inside village do what you want, no problem.
