"Well i hope Alban Kurti will not be present"
Yeh if Kurti turns up his presence might force peacekeepers to shoot dozens of demonstrators and kill a few and then blame Kurti for being "violent"

Well i hope Alban Kurti will not be present, i am sure people will get hurt and for what nothing. Go to school and get an education. Are they going to burn down the university if parliment does not act??

let them demonstrate, Serbia is a democratic country!

Ok so that will be like their last rally? 300 of them or so. Albanians really dont care about independence. This is a front organisation funded by US like OTPOR was in Serbia. Nothing different. Students being bought.

Hey Teni,
"but they will never manage to stop it."
- so why the protest?
Like Dragan said this is a clear sign that they will have something to protest against and clearly anticipate the inevitable acceptance of the continuation of the state they are in!
pre 16 godina
I think it is a good way of showing that whatever strange ideas on the future of Kosova the Serb government conceives of in its little dream world, the Albanians will not stand for it. The only solution is independence and Belgrade might jump over the moon for all we care, with a kick in the...from Russia if need be, but they will never manage to stop it.

What a complete waste of time!
All excuses are good for not going to school!
Good day to all!

How can these protests be peaceful when they are organized by the youth that will join, if not are already a part of the KLA?
To Tex - sure give peace a chance, but your prior posts do not give your most recent one any credibility.

Wasn't December
10'th the date that albanians were supposed to celebrate? I guess the students have woken up and already know that greater albania will not happen. Just like Kostunica said, justice is winning over power, David is winning over Goliath.
We can all celebrete a bit later on December 19'th, St. Nicholas Day :).

I don't like this kind of anouncements that on this date or that place someone will held the protests because someone who wold like to use this kind of places and events to destabilize the situation will have time to prepare the plan for actions.
Give peace the chance.

Absolutely right! Peaceful demonstrations as long as it takes. No further "talks" with Serbia after the 10th of December. Enough is enough!
