If we don't get independence there will be unrest" and we all know what that threat spells out. I cant grip the fact that the IC didn't want the Tsar Lasar guard in KosovO for a peaceful protest because it may stir up things there. But the ANA isn't? And we have alot of ANA defenders on this site from the Albanian side. And they blame Blegrade for their reemerdence. Why don't we blame Pristina for not controling the situation, not Belgrade. We have a branded terrorist group saying it will attack if they don't get what they want. Belgrade can't control what goes on there but Pristina. I really don't hear them condeming them or their comments. Serbia does not want war, they want a solution not a demand for Pristina or the ANA. Don't worry the Serbs are well prepared for the ANA. Hell they have been fighting islamists since the Ottoman Turks. Remember the Serbs preserved the haritige and culture through the centuries, and this is just a speed bump compaired to that. Kosovo has been going back an forth since the Serbs named that land KOSOVO.

It's not northern Kosovo that worries me - that for all intents and purposes will continue being part of Serbia - but the Serbs living in the central and southern areas of Kosovo may come under direct threat from ANA. This would be the perfect opportunity for an extremist group to apply enough pressure on the Serb minority to force them to either take up defensive postures, or leave Kosovo altogether, thereby effectively scuttling all the promises made in the Ahtisaari proposal to their protection and minority rights, destabilizing the whole of Kosovo, and scuttling any attempts to turn the region into a developed area. NATO, VS and the official channels in Pristina need to deal with these idiots as soon as possible.

The Serb Parliament needs to change its act as for the past 17 years they have not produced anything good for the people of serbia the day-to-day ordinary person is being Taxes higher then ever before the sanctions for serbia are still on and the EU is turning their head becouse they don't see any change in the regime. I think their needs to be more votes on the democratic side to move the nationalist out for good. Nationalism is bloodshed and ask yourself for what exactly. The most successful nation in the world the American empire was build on cross nationals from across the world and I feel that a major factor of this success has something to do with liberalism and tolerance with your neighbours etc etc.

Lets focus a bit more in Txar lazar activities and on the Nazi groups that are rising in Serbia. ANA doesent look serious threat to me, KPS, UNMIK and KFOR have the situation under control. The real threat comes from paramilitaries that are at large in the last Republic of the former SFRJ,Serbia.

Have you ever heard about the Vojvods,Albanian muslim guards who preserved the serbian churches(herritage and culture) through the centuries!...of course not!

"we will liberate Kosvo by force" and "UNMIK and KFOR will leave or we will fight them to free Kosova" are peaceful!!!!!!

It's just pathetic that you still try to portray Kosova independence as some sort of muslim related event. I wish that your government would follow in the steps of the same retorics, and show the world how far from reality it would be.

i have another little update from california, so far and yet so close to the balkans. according to dr svetlana broz (and i really do believe she knows of what she speaks) kosovo/a is soon to become independent. of course i have been saying this for some time, but it was nice that she confirmed it at her lecture today. this probably will occur shortly after dec. 10th. and believe me, in the long run it will bring stability and progress. i realize that many(?) serbs feel threatened by this, but it is absolutely necessary for any moving forward. let's all try to get on board and make the best of things. the ongoing hate-fest just has not done the trick, folks.
