Mike - the truth, to a greater or lesser extent, is that ALL media have external pressures put on them by politicians, advertisers etc. The ones with most interference are undoubtedly the giants like CNN and BBC and their Russian counterparts.

They certainly wouldn't be able to complain about it, even by inference.

It is interesting that this report appears the day after B92 devoted a large amount of attention to the release of an inconsequential ICG report. While this story is inferring that pressure on the media exists in the form of intimidation from certain groups, I would question whether or not B92 believes itself to be completely impartial and above influence? I would suggest that B92 may like to believe this to be the case, but the truth is something very different.
