Croatia's foreign minister says she expects her country to be invited to join the NATO military alliance next April.

It must be very difficult for those officers of NATO countries that served in UNPROFOR in 1995 - if they are to face some of those Croats they saw in action in 1995. Please NATO, let Croatia clean their backyard before letting them in or change the admission procedure.Let the polpulation in NATO countries vote for new members, that will deprive the US for dominating the expansion of that former decent organisation.

Wow, Croatia and Albania getting back together again - after their union during WWII. And these countries will be a part of NATO - pathetic! NATO must be desparate to allow these historically nations to join them. At least the Germans apologized for their atrocities - the Croats and Albanians should be required to do the same.

Good, Good, let the croats have new masters in Brussels that dictate what they can do and not do. I thought that the whole point of Croatias independece in -91 was that they wanted to govern themselves?
However, its good for the us to have new nato states, since so many will be hesitant to follow the US when they start a new war against Iran next year they need to have nato memebers that they can order around.
