In this case, the asylum application was processed promptly. By 2003, it was definitely decided that the Zogaj family was not eligible for political asylum.
I also read this article in the IHT and i find it quite interesting that 1. She did not speak albanian. 2. She had nothing in Kosovo. 3. If she is seeking aslyum then from what? They only reason her family wants to stay is because the life is good in Austria. She should have stated economic reasons not political. I have not seen anything in the press about this and some of my albanian friends find it quite funny that she does not want to come back.

Poles still get deported from Germany and France for working illegally in those countries, why should anyone bat an eyelid for these Albanian when they cannot apply for asylum anymore (from what?) and they are not there on a legal basis? Austria has enough of their own internal problems to worry about other people who just want to siphon off Austria's economic success.

I hope the Austrian minister asks her these questions. This makes Kosovo Albanians look bad to the EU.
Kosovo Albanians are good at pulling stunts. Hard to believe her when she claims she can hardly speak Albanian when she left only 5 years ago at age 10.
