Albano, Your logic is indeed funny. You state that Serbia is backed by a corrupt country like Russia. I have news for you. America is not immune from corruption.
"Lawful states always win against corruption", is another statement from you.
Well, Kosovo is NOT a lawful state. Kosovo is not a state, it's a province.
Serbia is a lawful country so that would mean it has to win.

Please don't compare countries like cowboys and Indians or outlaws. Indians have always owned American land but the cowboys came in and took it.

Who is morally on hight ground here? Russia has always owned their land.

So please don't make these remarks as your whole statement can be pulled apart very easily.

Unfortunaly, for the serbs, Kosova, has the same powerful backer as Israel, you made very clear point , that if serbs in Kosova , will not be in acordance with Kosovas law, maybe there will be some negotiations betwen serbs and albanians in the same way as Israel-Palestine.
As for Serbias powerfull backer, I think you are so wrong , that kind of back up coming from a very corrupt state such as Russia is , albanians never wanted, they want their freedom more than anything else, so now I'll leave you to do the math, if ever corruption won against lawfull states...?

The reason the International Conference is being avoided by Russia and Serbia is:

1. They will not have a say at all,

2. It would include changing borders once again and would unite all Albanian territories at the expense of Serbs, Macedonians, Greeks, and Montenegro.

Russia's National Security=Grab as much as you can from others.

(Cvele, 11. October 2007 19:01)

Cvele, is your bed that good that you are having trouble waking up from your sleep?
Independence is coming really really soon, I'd be scared if I was you ---- you've heard the government lies, "the terrorists are going to take 15% of our territory."

Slavko

pre 16 godina

Jovan, Cvele, and the rest of the Serbian audience, accept the fact, Kosovo is gone. Unless Serbia and Russia mount an equal number of troops in order to counter the balance of the foreign occupiers, Kosovo is a foregone conclusion. When the DSS is now stating they won't be sending any troops in the event of independence, they are sending a clear message to the Albanians. They are literally saying, "threaten us, take our land, build up your paramilitary, and even send in the Albanian army, we won't do anything." Until Serbia shows their teeth, if they still have any, they will be taken for pushovers, which they really are, then it'll be all over. In my opinion, this is not an issue of respect for international law or any kind of fairness. This is an imposition of the will of superpower nations that have adopted an anti-Serbian stance and will not stop at anything less of granting the Albanians Kosovo.

Peggy

pre 16 godina

To all you K-Albanians who keep beating the same drum how Russia has never won against the US. You mention the middle east and how US has got it's way there.
Well, maybe the middle east is not as important to Russia as the Kosovo issue.

Kosovo threatens to destabilise that whole region and more. Russian interests are compromised. There is a whole lot at stake here for Russia and frankly the US cannot go on making all the decisions for the world.

This is humiliating to Russia and China.

Keeping all this in mind and the fact that Russian/Chinese alliance is not a small obsticle to overcome for the US the situation we have today is very different to the previous ones.

Every empire crumbles sooner or later and the days of English imperialism is over. England and America have to go come to grips with that.

China/Russia alliance is the next power and more countries are interested in joining it. Some are waiting in line already to get in.

This is just a sample of what K-Albanians have to consider before they put all their dreams in the hands of the US. This is a business venture for the US and not a compassionate one. Like all businessmen, eventually you have to weigh up the pluses and minuses of continuing with a contract.

There might be just too many liabilities associated with this business deal struck by Albania and the US.

Dear KS,

Your inciteful comments advocating war were and will continue to be removed.

This policy applies to all our posters.

We consider the idea of more bloodshed in the Balkans as ultimately offensive to all of us collectively and each of us individually, and will therefore not promote it in these pages.

Some posters choose to sign their messages with symbols taken from the Serbian national flag, etc., which in itself is not and cannot be offensive. However if we understand that our visitors are using these signatures only in order to inflame the other side they too will be removed.

The same goes for deliberate distorting of names of either ethnicity. Such messages make it to the comment pages only by mistake and we are grateful when our posters alert us to them.

Thank you,

And to tell you the truth as things stand at the moment we don't really need to have a better reason than a "because we feel like it". That's all there is. We don't feel like being part of Serbia again and we feel like becoming independent. And much of the West is supporting us.

Countries, such as the United States, that support the Albanian’s position on independence always talk about the “uncertainty” of the independence issue. The U.S. is always saying that it is unfair for the Albanians to suffer the mental cruelties of “uncertain” status. I have an easy solution to that problem. The U.S. should tell the Albanians that Kosovo will remain Serbian forever! That would ease the stress on all Albanians; all the “uncertainty” would be gone forever.

Olf

I wonder whether Serbia is being prepared to accept the independence of Kosova. For Serbian delegations this meeting will be a good chance to talk about the modalities of the plan for good neighborhood offered by K-Albanians, which plan is extension of the Ahtisaari plan.
Serbian delegation is not being straight with its population. They are withholding the truth form them, but the others are telling them instead .i.e. Miliban, Sakozy, George Bush and soon Putin too.

Now that Serbia has an even more powerful backer I'll let you do the maths.

Oh albanians....

You call Serbs dreamers, yet you have been dreaming for 8 years now. How many more years are you prepared to dream?

Countries, such as the United States, that support the Albanian’s position on independence always talk about the “uncertainty” of the independence issue. The U.S. is always saying that it is unfair for the Albanians to suffer the mental cruelties of “uncertain” status. I have an easy solution to that problem. The U.S. should tell the Albanians that Kosovo will remain Serbian forever! That would ease the stress on all Albanians; all the “uncertainty” would be gone forever.

thank you Olf!
I am really glad you posted this:
"Jovan
K-Albanains are not prepared to wste their lifes again sorry. You posting belongs to postings of Milosevic era."

because it shows perfectly your lack of arguments! if that is all you can bring up, then your future is not really rosy...

wake up, buddy, Milosevic is dead and gone, you can´t count on him anymore!

so, every attempt to take him or his rule as an argument is simply worthless!

Albanians
I read all your posts and there is not a single valid point in amongst all those statements and comments. Not a single one. Is it because you know you have lost EU support? I can tell you are upset now that you realise independence is no longer an option.

Thank you,

B92

"OH NO WE Respect the International Law!"

why cannot the Albanians here admit that they are frustrated, instead of boasting about war "hell will break loose" ( I think it was nikshala, but I am not sure ) or others who blindfolded set all their hopes on the US...

you are being duped, don´t you see that?

they pulled back from the UNSC... that´s it! every other "independence" is only a placebo-independence...

what is so difficult to understand in the word placebo-independence?

Unfortunaly, for the serbs, Kosova, has the same powerful backer as Israel, you made very clear point , that if serbs in Kosova , will not be in acordance with Kosovas law, maybe there will be some negotiations betwen serbs and albanians in the same way as Israel-Palestine.
As for Serbias powerfull backer, I think you are so wrong , that kind of back up coming from a very corrupt state such as Russia is , albanians never wanted, they want their freedom more than anything else, so now I'll leave you to do the math, if ever corruption won against lawfull states...?

Peggy

pre 16 godina
