KS: the destruction of whose homes, shops, roads and CHURCHES. What about all the damage that was done to the Serbs left in kosovo, and those that had to leave for their own safty. There are also many Serbian bodies left in kosovo. You think that you are the only ones that have and had something to loose. Well reality check Serbs lost a lot more. They were the ones being terrorize and had to leave everything behind just to stay alive. On the point of not being able to protest against the government i'm sure you can, but do it for the reasons that are being stated not the underlying reason. For full independance of Kosovo. Now why isn't the Tsar Lazar Guard allowed to protest in Kosovo. It seems as a double standard to me It is just the same as bringing in the students from different countries that have no part in the conflict. And why is the ANA throwing up road blocks to check peoples papers and ethnicity at gun point. Who gave them the right to do that. How are they allowed in Kosovo and a group that has many interst in the future of kosovo is not allowed in to protest in what they believe. now tell me who is not allowed to protest the government. Serbs are the same in that aspect we will NOT be sweaped under the rug and not do something about it.

Suzy, in America you have a right to peacefully protest the government ---- are you not allowed to do such in Serbia?

Bc some students (teens) came in busses to protest you are treating them as a terrorist group. If it is illegal for Albanians to protest in Serbia than why would we take the offer of autonomy? We have a lot to protest against Serbia.

Our wages
Kosovar bodies still in serbia
Destruction of homes, roads, shops, mosques
War-criminals still in your police
Mladic = protected

If you think we're just going to let this under the bridge oh I'm sorry, you are mistaken.

Rovena,
I don't have to read any articles to have an opinion. to state that the media is distorting reality and not telling the truth is a stretch. I talk with my family who lived there. I heared what they went through. I have an aunt that cannot leave the province to go into Beograd without having three tanks escort them. So don't think that i am coming to a conclusion about the situation by reading articles or watching the news. I have a brain, I can think for myself. I came to my conclusion on the fact that any time any young students protest about anything they can get a little hot under the coller. which in turn they become violent to the opposition. It isn't just the Albanian students. It could be anyone. Now what was the point for the busses to come in from macedonia and albania. Did they need the extra support or the extra bodies to help just in case it became violent?

Rovena

I'm really disappointed to find this article impartial. It's not a B52 practice! The title itself is ambiguous.Talking about a bomb (that in the end was a false alarm) is rather more stereotyping and misinforming than a protest of students..And this is a bad journalist practice.
Secondly, it has been no link with Kla but just on support of self-determination movement. Not saying the truth and distorting reality is also a bad journalist practice.
Suzy, I wonder how can you conclude that the fact that albanians from Albania and Macedonia have joined the protest could have turned it in a not peaceful one. Or just because you read insinuating articles like this??

Please enlighten us EA.

Give it up and go home Kosovo is Serbian and will remain such. Those who cannot understand this should stop posting comments here. The student protesters can go home as well and focus on their education.

as far as I remember the US and their "allies" pulled the issue back from the UNSC.

please tell me, if I should be wrong, ...but if so, there is one thing clear: you have no authority over KiM! so, it sounds rather laughable reiterating those comments about Serbia does not have control, does not have authority, etc. ... just wait, the day will come. it´s only a question of time, since international law is quite clear on this.
as one smart Albanian once pointed out "Serbs shall go back to Sebiria(!) and eat roots"... well, it could happen that you will have economic problems since no one will invest in a mafia-infested province where some even still today follow the "kanun" ....
so, in order to have some progress, you should start thinking progressive rather than boasting with nonsense-myths of illyrians or high birth-rates in the future...

Thanks for pointing out that the albanian goal is to steal as much Serbian territory as possible. It is clear you were acting as victims in order to get outside support for these illegal actions.

Unfortunately you still believe that you will be able to steal our land. Unbeliavable.

Cvele, do you read arabic?
Because only if you read, backwards, maybe, you could come to this conclusion.

I wonder why the editor of B92 mixes up two different events.
Wherever this "bomb" incident is presented by other news stations there is not the slightest implication that the this incident could be linked to peaceful demonstrations.

Cvele,
You already have lost Kosova, no influence, no authority, there is nothing left for you to be proud of. If you continue with that attitude in politics, you will be losing more territories and looking for more "compromises" together with Russia.

Why would they bring in eight busses from Macedonia and five from Albania if it is going to be a peaceful protest. First of all the bringing in of these students is a sign that the Albanians want a greater Albania which is to include kosovo and part of Macedonia. It starts small but what they are trying to do is gain more than they are entitled to. That said they are not entitled to Kosovo. It is part of Serbia legally. Just because it's government is Albanian I don't feel that it should allow the students to have any protest of any kind. The younger generation of albanians feel they are entitled to kosovo by the sheer fact that there are more of them.

No independence is the only solution. You can live in self impossed confines and we are fine with that. No future, no prospects, no job, life, money, car, food, electricity... we are fine with you shuning all this. You may become Amish for all we care. But to take our land is unacceptable. If nial and others keep repeating that lie to yourselves, you might actually begin to believe it for your own nations. ie--no. ireland and serbia might make some positive changes if their students took active interests in stoping the growth of neo nazis in your youth groups.

"Organizers expect the arrival of eight buses carrying students from Macedonia and five from Albania."

Ominous sign this. This is the start of a concerted campaign by Albanians to push for civil disobedience in KiM and the first step in the quest for Greater Albania.
