I equally appologize to any Albanien that was offended by my remarks.

I also very much agree with your final statement that we should have people with political knowledge to solve such a difficult problems.

Like you said no more war-noone in Balcan is 100% pure and noone will be 100% satisfied and all have to be open to compromise or there never will be end of this terrible hatred between these people that at one time lived in relative peace before deseastor came. PEACE TO ALL IN BALCAN!!!!!!

My god Ron, for the umpteenth time I'll answer your monologue (guess you're too busy lobbying embassies to read replies):

I would say Kosova should get independence *and so should Kurdistan*, *so should Palestine* etc etc.

Just wondering why that is so much of a threat to someone in ... Holland, which revolted against Spain 400 years ago to establish its own independence.

Maybe people up there in Holland still trying get over theidea that you were forced to give independence to Indonesia ?

Taking to ourselves? I thought we were all talking to each other exchanging comments and ideas about the better future?! Thanks for reminding us LOLA 

Let me get this straight; You are telling us to be civilized but at the same time insulting us! I’m not going to get into that so I’m going to leave it here.

Now let’s analyze your “carefully” chosen words:
By "we have people that are taking care of us for last 8 years." he didn’t mean that we are doing nothing and everybody else is working to make Kosovo a better place for us…I mean Id love that (who wouldn’t) but aint happening and nobody counts on that. What he meant by that was that A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE LOBYING FOR US…I hope I wont have to be so specific next time. Read between the lines.

You told us to help ourselves because we are only expecting from somebody else! This has never crossed my mind! Well let us help ourselves…How can he help ourselves when K-Albanians became hostage to this process? Have you ever been to Kosovo? And trust me nobody wants to be violent…Those days are long gone and everybody knows that. Don’t be fooled by media footage of guys dressed in black armed with AK-47 hiding in the bushes. That’s stupid people being used by some smart guy who is probably laughing by the reaction that they appearance caused. So bottom line: NO WAR…NO ARMS. I think everybody has had enough ef them for the past 15 years.

As per insulting Serbs: I apologize if I or any other K-Alb in this forum insulted you in any way shape or form. This is not my intention. If I would have had any prejudice about Serbs you would have never seen me or any other of these guys on B92 commuting with others. Let’s leave past where it belongs and start looking towards future…This crap has to stop somewhere! We can do that…We are not politicians!

Peter Sudyka,

No one should be licking my shoes. Or anyone's shoes.

Problem is: the Albanians really must accept that they are part of Serbia.

If we breach international law for them - while Serbia is offering them a lot - how can we ever refuse independence of let's say Darfur.

This must be stopped NOW. This is not about Kosovo (I wish you the best, really!). It is about international law.

To EA, KS, others:

What will you tell a Kurd? You will get independence. And Kurdistan not because ....

Looking forward to your answers.

Well, well, well, don't worry people, the Dutch are here again to save you, like they always did. The problem with Dutch people is that they always seem to know how other people\countries should live their lives and solve their problems. Dutch really seem to think the whole world should be like Holland, the country where everything is just wonderful. Well, I am Dutch and I can tell you this place is nowhere near heaven and I'm getting sick of Dutch people telling the world what to do without any knowlegde of the situation they're talking about. 'I just phoned with a Dutch politician' just makes me laugh. You don't seem to realize people in the Balkans still have feelings Dutch people have lost ages ago (which is not a good thing), because they were so busy making careers and telling other people what is best for them. I quit here, before I start to throw up.

All these remarks from Albanien suporters are very interesting. Talking to themselves. Telling each other how right they are. The more interesting one is whre someone said "we have people that are taking care of us for last 8 years." But you have to know that those people can't take care of you forever by you just mopping aroung and not helping youseves by doing somthing prodactive other then waiting for independence and trethening if you don't get it you will turn violent. Tell your people to get productive, plant somthing in back yard and help youselves in even smallest way. UN reports that noone wants to do any work there. It is communist mentality. You think that independence will make you all rich with this kind of attitude. Trying to compete here who is smarter and more cleaver when it comes to insulting the Serbs won't do you much good. Serbs know you are good at that. Just try to be more civilized and flaxable in your thinking and honesty will do much more good.

That's why I am fighting for all of you.
Get over nationalism. Too much blood was shed for noting. Join Europe. No new borders! You are welcome.

The Netherlands is one of the biggest aid donors in the EU (if Kosovo ever joins, a huge portion of aid will be from there), they have a superb economy, developed and stable, and for such a small country it is massively significant in the EU. They made up a part of NATO and are currently investing in Kosovo's useless economy.

Now Joe, take a look at Kosovo... you should be licking the shoes of every Dutch person you meet... don't be surprized that if Kosovo ever joins the EU, there will be a massive influx of Kosovars into Holland.

Ask Ron, Netherlands is hugely attractive to foreigners from poorer countries (to a Kosovar it is heaven!!!).

The West (and by now even Russia as well) is using all the means possible to tell the Serbian people that Kosova will be independent as a whole and that is a decision already made. Now, they are in the process of finding the right form of "food" or "pill" to feed this decision to the ones that haven't gotten it yet, so thay it will be digested without any dangerous "heartburn".

All this time is just a waste. Instead of making up our minds that Kosova is already independent, and start working on those roads, highways, factories, etc, etc, we all, Serbs and Albanians, still keep each other away, dreaming about old times that will never come back.

It looks like that Serbia recognises only the results of Conferences i.e. Dayton agreement. The international community is offering all of the means to those opposing the solution Ahtisaari to come to agreement, conference is one of those.
My personal feeling is that there is not going to be any agreement between sides. With this Serbia is going to make it’s and Kosova’s life difficult but they will keep the present politicians.
It is worth it? I don’t know but I recon NO

This is just a game of prestige for Serbian leadership. They are going through the options just for the sake of it. Every single trick in the book has been used and every existing model has been proposed. The latest to be put forward “The Hong Kong Model” was dropped as soon as adopted; I guess because the lack of Asian values among Kosovar Albanians. Gone are the days when Serb diplomacy could sway opinion on imperialist slogans of a new level of civilization.
When the decision on Kosova will go against them, and it will undoubtedly do so, they will say that we did everything on our power but the Albanian-American lobby was too strong for our liking.
" Bruegel’s “Parable of the Blind Leading the Blind" springs to mind.

I agree with Mr. Janjić predictions. He is a smart man and I comend him for his honesty about the outcome of Kosova.
As I am reading between the lines he, Mr. Janjić is telling Koshtunica and Tadić the time is coming to throw in the white towel.

teni

It's pretty ironic that roughly 100 years after the conference in London where the Great Powers decided to support Serbia's claim on Kosova, another conference - if one is indeed held - will now reverse the decision of the first one. Although I am very happy about that I do actually sympathize with the Serbs because I know what it feels like to have parts of your country that you considered as yours all along - rightly or wrongly - taken from you.
