Kosovo: Fatal shooting in Đakovica

I don't understand b92 that is posting this incidents. why don't you report murder , robbery amongs other incidents that ocurre every day in Serbia proper?
By the way let me give you some good news ; about an hour a go two of seven escapees from dubrava prison have been arrested.
Gjakova incident it started with fight and ended up in fatal shooting nothing more.

Apparantly GOING HOME will not be going home, becasue I am from Gjakova and he/she(GOING HOME) is from Djakovica and we do not have a city with such name.
B92 don't forget that I am the first source of information about the arrest of two escapees from Dubrava. I know you will have that story tomorrow on your site but once you posted you should also post a coment thanking me.

I sort of agree here. The article doesn't say the motive, or the relevance to mainstream Serbian news.

Isn't a shooting anywhere in Serbia worthy of news coverage? It's not as though it's a big article; just a news story about a gun crime the same as anywhere else.

That is the only positive thing about knowing Serbs were ethnically cleansed from there: when someone is killed (unless they are an elderly person/nun under KFOR protection) he/she is guaranteed NOT to be a Serb.

The name Gjakova derives from GJAK which means Blood (Albanian OF COURSE). The city of blood, one of the cities that lost the most martyrs.

Again, you Serbs can claim it that it's yours and serb territory blah blah.

After independence all Albanian names of towns will be official.

Since you are from Gjakova you'd know that the BIG SIGN reads when you enter the city..right?

I am from Djakovica, and thanks to B92 for informing about events in my hometown. CONGRATULATIONS!

Probably a mafia hit - started when two mobsters got into an argument about sex slave money and ended up with a shooting. UNMIK stood by and watched from somewhere safe.

The name Gjakova is derived from one of the brothers named Jak=Jakove.
Gjakova is Alb. pronounciation and Djakovica is Serbian pronounciation.
I urge Albanians who dont know the history of the city to refrain from posting dum postings. I urge the Serbian side to not post untrue statements.
