The Seselj and his Radicals and dss should be banned just like the Ba'ath Party in Iraq.
If the majority in Serbia believes in these two parties, I FEEL SORRY FOR SERBIA.

What an embarrassment for Serbia! This is an indictment of almost all Serbs for for the killing, raping an destruction that was commited in the name of Serbia. The blame of ethnic cleansing and genocide rests on the doorstep of Serbia for what happened in Croatia, Bosnia and Kosovo during the Balkan Wars of the 1990's.

Furthermore, Serbia doesn't yet have a legitimate government since they have yet to have passed a complete "constitution". That means that the "people in power" are really not official.

At least the Radical party have the courage to state their true feelings about their "hero" Mladic.

Dragan,

This kind of rhetoric makes me mad. Did Mladic, Krstic, Obronovic,Mrksic,Sljivancanin, Radic, and all the Serb officers care about their victims? Then, why do you care about their trial?

I will always remember the fate of these 300 patients taken out from an hospital and brutally murdered. I would always remember those 200 men murdered by Darko Mrjda en Mount Vlasic. I will always remember these 131 women and children burned alive in Visegrad by Milan Lukic. And the whole world will remember for ever these 8000 boys and men sent to their death in Srebrenica only to revenge and by hatred.

«I agree that everyone that has been indicted to face charges at the Hague should surrender and hope for a fair trial.»

I agree that everyone that has been indicted to face charges at the Hague should surrender and hope for a fair trial. Unfortunately for Karadzic and Mladic i believe this is now impossible. Partly brought on by their refusal to surrender and partly because of the inaccurate reporting. Most reports refer to these guys as War Criminals where it should be Alleged War Criminals. Nobody in their right mind can argue this. If they could have been convicted in absentia they would have been already.

Nothing new in this article is there?

It easier to point the finger at others by calling them fascists, Nazis, radical muslims, terrorists, etc.

Serbs never openly concede that today 1/3 of their voting public openly supports extremist parties that supported war on their neighbours and also openly hide wanted war criminals.

Its time Serbia finally faced the truth about its dark past and the present.

B92 I wonder why u post comments by albanians that anyone from Serbia would find offencive but dont let me or for that matter many other Serbs post replies? I should have the same rights but I apparantly do not. Its all good. Sooner or later your funding will come from a different source.

The good news is that there are enough sane minds in Serbia it seems (G17 plus) to counter them.

Let me catch my breath. Ok. First off I 100% agree. Srebrenica was a staging point for attacks on Serbian farmers and civilians by the muslims during the civil war. At that time they killed nearly 5000 Serbs from the surrounding villages. Im not justifying the actions because there were other ways of dealing with it. Possibly as POWs but with absolutely no rights.

However, since we are remenising about past. How about we talk about the criminals of operation storm, and the 2004 riots and where they stand today. Why is Ceku not indicted for his crimes of which there is a never ending trail of evidence for. Because the ICTY is a western tool used to demonize innocent Serbs and give a noble status to those (albans, croats, "bosniaks!?!?")

What next? I suggest government start planning personal bunkers. Unlike in Albania, people in Serbia might actually need them if Radicals gain popularity.

Seriously speaking, comments like that from a popular party are simply outrageus. There is no room in international community for drama-queen-like behaviour. Politics is not theather, even Radicals should understand that much.

Where are all those patriots, who always fill the columns with opinions regarding international law for Kosovo, NATO bombing etc etc. I challenge you all to come forward and show you commitment to the international law in this case.

Victor I agree. It tells a lot about a country, which apparently 7 years ago had a fake event, a so called "revolution a la serbe". Very little changed in Serbia.

Well the Radicals and the percentage of Serbs that support them need no comment. It's just old news, the good old Serbs we know. The good news is that there are enough sane minds in Serbia it seems (G17 plus) to counter them. I wish these guys all the best of luck.

This is quite unique in the story of a nation that a Parliament is proposed as a safe house for the worst war criminal since WW2. And, as Nikshala says, it is coming from a popular party in Serbia, I would like to know how many Serbs support such a motion.
