You guys are hilarious. Who'd have thunk a story about trade with Africa could be turned into an argument about Albanians, and how things were better before the Turks?!

Anyhow, I don't think the news really is worrying. You should worry more about the trade deficit overall. The fact that you can't export much to Africa probably has more to do with how damn poor that continent is (really, it makes the Balkans look like Eldorado) than anything else. As far as I can tell the best way of making money out of Africa is to sell them arms - and if you're not doing that, you should be proud of yourselves (unlike us here in Britain).

We need to stop importing coffee. True, many people drink it, but it is just a dumb type of drug. Why waste millions of dollars buying it? We did not have this before the Turks came, so we don't need it now.

The first two comments are a perfect example of how hypocritical Albanians are.

A small insignificant deficit with Africa? WOW big deal...If anything Serbia should be commended for helping African nations by importing their goods.

Does Albania even trade with Africa? if so what do they export?

I hope you can see how pointless your post's are.

This is not a good sign. I thought that economy in Serbia proper is booming, and did not excpect to read this type of news.
A large deficit creates has an inpact on inflation.

Very significant this.

Africa out-exporting Serbia?

Well done to this bunch of so-called leaders in Serbia.

They are only worried about staying in power through distractions (from their own corruption) to do anything for its people and the future of the country by boosting industry.
