Victor have you already forgotten the published article from the head of the missing persons investigation in B&H?

The very same article posting on this very same website?

Stated 97 000 deaths from all sides (civil and military).

So 200 000 is a joke form your "independent sources" I wonder did they do all the counting as well?!

Propaganda indeed, wise up or go home Victor!

Very easy to say, but proof it. 200 000 is the figure usually used independantly of all other sources.
(Victor, 1. October 2007 20:50)

Victor sometimes you make sense but sometimes you just get it plain wrong. Learn...

The Research and Documentation Center is the most respected NGO which has counted the war dead. Look it up, they calculated that just over 100,000 were killed in the Bosnian war. Of that figure they estimate just under 25 percent were Serbs.

I do find it ridiculous to argue the statistics but on the other hand I cant stand this constant inflation or underplaying of war dead. Lets get this statistic right.

If you dont believe me check it on the internet.

Where did you get your statistic from? Next time maybe you will think twice.

Victor you are slipping again on Croatian responsibility.

We all know what Franjo and Sloba discussed, its pretty much documented and spoken of by those involved.

Karadzic did not drive a nation into war alone - he was assisted by others such as Boban, Milosevic, Tujdman and even Izetbegovic.

Not that this excuses Karadzic but lets not hung up about one man.

Saying 200,000 people died when the real figure is half that is also propaganda and helps nobody's cause either but you continue to do it.

Victor, your argument is over simplistic. Yes, Karadzic chose war, but so did Abraham Lincoln. Lincoln could have let the South secede, but he chose to go to war. To put Karadzic’s decision not to join Bosnia in perspective, during America’s Civil War the peoples in the western part of Virginia did not want to secede form the United States (exactly like the Bosnian Serbs did not want to secede from Yugoslavia), and they formed West Virginia. Somehow, the United States denied the Serbs the right that was given to Western Virginians during the American Civil War (can you say hypocrisy) and gave the Serbs no choice but to go to war. In addition, Karadzic OPENLY warned the Muslims that the Bosnian Serbs were going to go to war if forced to join a Muslim dominated Bosnia. Izetbegovic was warned, yet he chose to go to war despite being militarily unprepared. Lastly, the Bosnian Muslim leadership and its Muslim citizens displayed the ultimate hypocrisy: The argument for cession from Yugoslavia was that the Bosnian Muslims did not want to live in a Serb dominated Yugoslavia, yet the Bosnian Muslims tried to force the Bosnian Serbs to live in a Muslim dominated Bosnia. Therein lies the ultimate hypocrisy of the Bosnian Muslims because it shows that they tried to make the Serbs do something (live in a Muslim dominated Bosnia) that they were not willing to do (live in a Serb dominated Yugoslavia).

Python, long live the Serb war heros, saving the Serb nation and responsible for the biggest war crime in Europe since 1945. Don't forget, Serbs started the atrocities and the ethnic cleansing and have major responsibilities for the violence and the hatred.

Python,

Is there Serbs in Bosnia or they all live now in the RS?

Saying that Mladic and Karadzic saved the Serbs in Bosnia is propaganda only and does not help the Serbian cause.

python, there is no justification in commiting crimes of proportion that Karadzic and mladic conducted. It was Karadzic who in early 90's warned muslims that they will not exist if they declare independence and it was he who said that he wanted a Republika Srpska free of non-serbs, access to the sea, a serb corridor to Krajina (the famous May 13 speech). That is not defending. That is an attack. He didnt save the serb nation, he humiliated it and to say that the many mass graves, the many concentration camps, the de-populating of RS of non-serbs is "defending" then perhaps you should look the word up in dictionary. It was all for Greater Serbia, free of all non-serbs. And the severity of crimes has resulted in crimes against serbs being overshadowed. And for that RS leaders and its Serbia have only themselves to blame.

Victor, if it wasn't for him and Mladic there'd be no Serbs left in Bosnia. What kind of justice would that be? Many were killed on all sides but a whole nation was saved in the process.

«Karadžić knows he’s in danger, because if they do find him, he won’t be transferred to the Hague alive," it says in the transcript»

Who cares if he is alive or dead! As long as he is dead, justice will be served for the 200 000 who died because of his politics. He drove a nation into war without thinking of the final results. He should have known that the world would stand as an observer while he was perpetrating a genocide in Bosnia.
