I first strongly disapprove that the Minister of Defense should belong to any party at all.

He has one duty and one duty only -- To Protect the nation against all armed threats --

He should have no loyalty to any political party.

Second he has no place in commenting what Serbia should not do in the public eye. All matters CONCERNING the MoD should be held in private meetings with the President and PM and entire government.

NATO membership is not up to him to decide, but only to implement if a decision is made. His belief that Serbia should join is his opinon and should hold no grounds of authority or more importantly effect his ability to do his job because of disagreements.

I guess that some day sooner rahter than later, the Albanians will be throwing stones at NATO-vehicles and shooting on them...

it will be a rude awakening for you, my dear Albanians...

I really regret it, since broad autonomy would have been the much better result for you...

Suntanovac better keeps comments for himself. There are Serbian politicians, more qualified than him, and Serbian people to decide the way Serbia should go.
If he likes the way of NATO, he should apply for job there but not interfere into politics. His job is to obey the orders from the Serbian President but not to keep expressing his wishes.
