“largest autonomy in the world,"

This means more than less than independence but it also means more than more than autonomy. So to the plan less than independence more than autonomy we add another less and another more. As negotiations go more less' and more's will be added. This will make things once and for all clear for sure and the Albanian side will be convinced. After all why is it so hard to understand that all Albanians will have a better life under more more less less less more less more less more more less less than independence and less less more more less more more less less less more more less than autonomy. Its just an inequality, figure that out and the lives of the Albanians will be perfect under the prosperous state of Serbia who can come this easily with such great solutions.

EA,
Who exactly is the 'Serbian Minister for Kosova'? This position does not exist. 'Kosova' are Gusii people who inhabit western Kenya, and there is no Serbian minister representing them.

We are flattered that you think our influence reaches as far as western Kenya, however. Thank you.

From the constitution of 1974 Kosova had his own Parliament, Government, permanent member in the federal presidency (once the president of Yugoslavia was the Kosovo envoy), autonomous educational system, health care etc. the only thing that it didn’t had was the international recognition as a separate entity from Yugoslavia. Then one day everything disappeared. Now you are offering us again the same thing? No thanks INDEPENDENCE - NOW

Too little, too late, as we usually say. Kosovo had an autonomous status before Milosevic, and that status was removed, followed by massive crackdown on the province during which 12 000 Albanians, mostly civilians, were brutally murdered.

If Mr Tadic would sit and consider this premise, he would understand that even the 'largest autonomy' is...

... too little, too late!

Autonomy is the best option because it is within the law and because it will give the people in Kosovo a much better chance for att better life. I cannot see anything directly negative for the albanian population with autonomy. They will be able to run their own lifes, their own economics, their own politics. EU can supervise it with NATO if the albanians are so afraid of democratic Serbia. What more do the albanians need? A country of their own they already have. It is called Albania.

Is it still something to be offered to Kosovo from Serbia?! I thought all offers were finished during '80 till 1999 and that time in Serbia nobody didn't say that those offers are too much for children, women, eldery and handicaped people and all the other civilians...

Good luck Kosovo on your own way...

Is it true that Tadic said this? I hope not, otherwise it will look like Serbia side is not serious about the negotiations
What does he mean with the “largest autonomy in the world," is it less than Independence more than autonomy. I see nothing new in here since the proposal of Milosevic 1998. By changing the name of the lamb to a large lamb will not change it looks or anything else except the name, lamb will still be a lamb same as the autonomy that will be autonomy whether it is large or small or the largest. I wonder why Serbia is really offering so much of nothing. Are they scared of something?
Mr.Tadic lest start with the Supervised Independence for a change. Than lets us start with the building of the houses destroyed by your forces in Medvegja and than with the returns of the Albanians to Medvegja. Than we can start with the return of the Serbs that have clean hands and have property left in Kosova …
Time when Serbia was accepted as a serious country have gone, sorry.

And the Albanians are offering Serbia great protection for the Serbian minority, great protection for the cultural and religious sites...through the Ahtisaari plan and the Friendship Treaty.

Serbia wants it the hard way, but they need to be realistic, and they should stop pretending more than their fair share after the major screw-ups they have made.

With this kind of behaviour, Serbia is starting to become Belarus' twin sister.

According to the Serbian Minister for Kosova Serbia is prepared to "give" 95 per cent of independence to Kosova. What will Serbia have in remaining 5 per cent? I am sure that Serbia now can "offer" 99.99 per cent of independence.
Serbia is willing to give the Kosovar Albanians everything just to "compromise" on accepting to be Serbian citizens. The question of soverignity among other related matters is a question of national pride. Serbia lost the pride since doing the ethnic cleansing in the Balkans and losing every war started. It lost its pride since its capital Belgrade was bombed because of its irresponsible leader Slobodan Milloshevic. That is why after looking into the history of the former Yugoslavia, Kosova will have its own sovereignity.

Why doesn’t Mr Tadic show some flexibility towards our demands for an independent entity?
The claim to territorial integrity and sovereignty rights followed by no other argument has become awfully repetitive and judging by the reaction of other nations tactically futile.
The attempts to play the moral high ground do not play well with Serbia.
I am not suggesting that this regime is the same one that resided in BG eight years ago, nonetheless Albanian fears are real being rational or not. As we have said before we cannot trust the ultimate authority deriving form Belgrade.
