So much for EU unity. EU inst ready to recognise its own Constitution. Kosovo unity is a joke.

now, just one more ( important ) political player is against an illegal toy-state on the territory of southern Serbia! and this move by the Vatican has influence on the decision of other ( christian ) countries.

Technically, if you are a good Catholic. You cannot go against the word of the Pope. How awkward coming from a German? Guess he knows what's up.

Technicaly, Vatican's Representative is right. The best way would be to get the independence of Kosova through the Security Council. Unfortunatelly Russia as a permanent member of the SC is the opposes anything natural, just, reasonable etc. as long as it is not in their interes. Typical behaviour of Russia, therefore avoid giving Russia the right to co-decide about the destiny of Kosova. Kosova belongs to Kosovans, be they Albanians, Kosova Serbs, Kosova Montenegrins, Jews etc.

Really, i'm not trying to be abrasive, but the whole "Kosovar" idea is simply a White House catch-phrase..

Creating a nation out of a region, and calling the people "Kosovars" helps keep people like Condi Rice employed..

You either have no clue about the history and geography of the region or you just want to act like you don't.
To make it simple for you, Kosovo has been a separate entity for thousands of years, hence it's called Kosovo/a, and not Serbia or Albania. You can compare it to Scotland, Well, Bavaria, Normandy in terms of geography...you get the picture. Serbs are just a minority in Kosovo/a.
